I was excited.

I couldn't stand still. I was jumping around on my feet, waiting impatiently for Marco to walk through that door and come home with us.

George was working so I was standing here with Will who was leaning against a lamp post, waiting patiently.

"You're stressing me out, Allie." William commented as he pinched the bridge of his nose before looking at me. "Stand still, yeah?"

"I can't." I shook my head. "Too excited."

It was late November, exactly three months since Marco was put in rehab here in London. I had missed him incredibly much and visiting him every Saturday just wasn't enough. My priority though, was that he was okay and rid of his addiction.

The last month, George and I had been on a date once every week, having fun and just enjoying being back together. It was also going to be exciting to tell Marco that we were in a relationship again and just as serious as the last time.

Oh, I came up with a name for my newspaper. Fred helped me. We spent days in my office, thinking over everything until we found the perfect one.

The Silverberry outlook.

I took George's advice and did something with my surname. As he said, the name is my birth right. The name makes sense for what I want to use the newspaper as. It's my way of spreading a message, stating my opinions and my views, trying to make a difference in this world.

Not only about race or sexuality, but also about women's rights. Basically, I want to use the newspaper to spread and hopefully change the oppression that is happening towards so many people. Different races, sexualities, religions and women.

The doors to the clinic opened and Marco walked out, wearing a pair of blue jeans that were folded up by the ankles, and a grey jumper, along with some white trainers.

He was carrying a bag over his shoulder, a huge smile on his face. His hair was longer than when he first signed himself in, curling at the end.

"Oh fuck." I heard William inhale sharply and when I looked at him, he was biting his lip which made me roll my eyes.

I started walking towards Marco, smiling. He dropped his bag and opened his arms as I started running. As soon as I reached him, I threw my arms around his neck and he wrapped his around my back while I jumped, wrapping my legs around his hips.

He laughed loudly as he spun around, hugging me tightly while I couldn't stop shrieking with happiness.

I had on purpose not told Marco about George and I, every time Will and I came to visit him. I wanted to wait until he was finished with rehab.

After spinning around a few times, he put me down and I took his face in my hands to look at him.

"Hi." I grinned. "How're you feeling?"

"Oh, I'm great!" he smiled. "Three months clean and they've given me this sponsor that I need to call if I get cravings... what do they mean by call? I don't... quite get that."

I frowned.

"You mean... like a phone?" I asked. "The thing that muggles have in their homes?"

Marco shrugged.

"Have no idea. I've never heard of that before, but they wrote a number on a piece of paper and told me to... yeah, maybe you're right." he nodded. "Though I don't know where to get one of these... phones."

I chuckled.

"We'll figure it out."

I wrapped an arm around him and grabbed his bag as he made our way over to William. While I threw Marco's bag over my shoulder, Marco greeted William by grabbing the nape of his neck and kissing him.

Time to look away.

I could hear the sound of their kissing and I gagged, closing my eyes at the same time as I covered my ears.

"I'm leaving!" I announced, focusing before I apparated to outside of the flat. I was not about to stay there while they were making out.

William wouldn't want to see me make out with George either. Though he probably has seen that a couple of times.

I walked up and let myself into the flat, hanging Marco's bag on the wall before I got rid of my shoes and my jacket. I walked into the kitchen to cook Marco's favourite seeing as he's coming home for the first time in three months.

His favourite thing is a full breakfast so that was exactly what I was going to make. It was ten o'clock so it could work.

As I had just put the sausages on the pan, I heard the front door open, along with Marco's enthusiastic voice while William was listening to him. The two entered the kitchen and while continuing to talk, Marco walked over to hug me from the side.

"I've missed you." he pouted. "I hope you've been taking care of Will. The idiot can't live without me."

I scoffed and looked at my brother whom I had been a little pissed with lately. All due to one thing he said. Call me petty... I don't care.

"Bitch told me he didn't want to make the same mistakes as... and then he didn't say anything else." I said. "Though I'm pretty sure I know who he was talking about."

I pointed at myself with my thumb.

"What– what mistakes?" Marco asked. "You don't make mistakes. You're Allie."

I looked at him and laughed softly, shaking my head.

"Allie, I told you I was sorry." Will said and took a seat at the kitchen island. "I didn't mean it."

"Alright, what in the universe are you two talking about?" Marco asked. "Fill me in. What happened while I was gone?"

"Nothing–"

"Eleanor got a boyfriend." I cut Will off. "She's dating Ernie Macmillan and William got all pissed about it and as we discussed it, he told me he don't want El making the same mistakes."

Marco straightened up and looked at Will with a cocked eyebrow.

"I'm gone for three months and you decide to shit all over Allie?"

William laughed and shook his head.

"You two had always loved ganging up on me." he said before looking at me. "It just slipped. I know what happened wasn't your fault but I was angry with you for a long time for getting yourself in danger."

"Getting myself in–" I let out a laugh. "...you have absolutely no idea what it's like being in an abusive relationship. I knew it was toxic and for a long time, I wanted to leave him but I was scared out of my mind because he kept manipulating me, trying to get in my pants and then he slapped me and I still didn't leave him because I was even more scared. Then he was being homophobic and I dumped him, but I'm still not rid of him, am I?"

Will straightened up, frowning at me.

"What do you mean?"

"Pucey and Warrington told me that he's watching." I said. "They kept him updating and then he fucking sent Carrington. I don't even think he's a sociopath. I used to think that but it's starting to seem like he doesn't know that he's wrong about everything he's done."

I sighed, realising I was rambling, and they still didn't know that Cameron's our cousin. William deserves to know but every time I mention it, I feel like throwing up.

"You alright?" Marco asked. "You seem a little tense."

"I'm better than okay." I nodded. "Cause you're home and I have news."

Marco raised his eyebrows in question, waiting for me to spill.

"George and I got back together at the end of September." I said. "Both romantically, sexually... he and Fred bought me a building to live out my dream."

"But she's still got a job at the leaky cauldron." William jumped in. "I did fire her but she needs to earn her money from somewhere until her own business is stable."

We both looked at Marco to see his reaction and all of the sudden, he threw his arms around me, almost tackling me to the ground. He was so happy by the news that he didn't even say anything. He just hugged me as tight as he possibly could, making me laugh.

I'd missed him.
