I'm gonna keep saying this, because it's true...
You're terrifying, especially when you get up and personal with me in the comments, though I can't say I don't enjoy watching you freak out in the comments.
Anyway, you might need a warning for this chapter.

Warning: Pucey & Warrington
Dear Allie,
I've decided to leave the country. I've been saving up for a while and I wasn't mean to do so until after the war, but when I found out that it's all been a lie, that I'm a Black... I can't stay.
I did drugs again, and this time, I don't know how to stop. I don't want to drag the rest of you with me when I fall, because it will happen.
Let's be honest. You're better off without me and all my drug problems.
I don't know if I'll ever come back. Maybe I will someday. I know you'll hate me, and you have every reason.
I'm sorry.
I love you.

"This is bullshit!" I yelled as I threw the letter on the table, staring at it while Will took another sip of the whiskey.
He told me that Marco had left a letter for me as well and then he handed it to me so I could read it.
"He wouldn't do this!" I exclaimed. "Marco wouldn't just leave!"
"Well, apparently he would." William let out a laugh. "Now I'm left here with his dog that you gave him."
I looked at Caroline, still sleeping on the sofa. Marco wouldn't leave Caroline behind.
"Something's not right." I said. "The dog he wanted so much, is sleeping on the sofa while Marco supposedly left?"
"He did leave, for fuck sake!" William snapped. "It's right there in the letters. He left Caroline because he thought it would help me if I had a piece of him."
I teared up.
"You know him just as well as I do." I said. "You can't possibly thing he'd leave like that."
"Well, I actually do."
"What? No, he wouldn't–"
"I found the money, Allie." Will sighed and looked at me. "I didn't think much of it, but I found the money he had been saving up on. I confronted him, asked what they were for and he got all nervous, but at the time, I just thought he was being the Marcus Partridge that we all know and love but can't understand."
I gulped.
"He left me, and he left you." William added. "It's fine. I don't give a flying fuck anyway."
"Well I fucking do!" I cursed. "A few days ago when I told him you choose your family, he said he chose me and now he's just left? What– was that his way of saying goodbye? No... this isn't right!"
He poured himself some more whiskey.
"Can you please stop drinking in front of me?!"
Will looked at me, then sighed and pushed the bottle closer to me.
"Put it away then."
"No..." I took a step back. "I'm not touching it."
His expression immediately changed, realisation washing over his face.
