The next couple of weeks passed by and it was safe to say that all of us were quite bored, apart from Molly.

She had gotten permission from her aunt to grow some vegetables in the garden so she spend most of the day doing that, with some help from Blake and I.

The twins were shipping products from aunt Muriel's back room, much to her dismay.

Sometimes, Blake and I would help them with the shipments.

Me on the other hand... I'm behind with my newspaper. I'm not gonna be ready for when I thought I would, because now I'm not making money due to us having to shut down the shop and go into hiding.

Currently, I was making a sandwich to share with George while he was talking and watching me do so.

"It's my dads birthday today." I said, glancing at George who was leaning against the kitchen counter, arms folded over his chest.

"Yeah, it is."

"He turns forty-five." I said, cutting the sand which in two before handing one half to George, and he immediately took a bite. "When Will and I were younger and the girls were toddlers, we always celebrated every birthday, and every year on my dads birthday, we'd go to the zoo."

I smiled at the memory.

"Then Will and I slowly went into puberty and I don't think my dad could handle us growing up." I said. "Or... me, he was never— he was embarrassed of Will back then. That was before he accepted and supported his sexuality."

George hummed.

"Dad couldn't handle his kids going into puberty and growing up, so instead of being there for us, he just started working more, staying away from the family." I said. "Turned out he was cheating. I was suspicious of that because when we weren't at Hogwarts and dad would come home late at night, he'd smell of a perfume that wasn't mum's, and he'd get angry if anyone asked where he had been. One time he pushed me so that I hit the wall with my head."

I looked up at George.

"But we made up last year at the wedding." I said. "He's changed and now we can't even celebrate his birthday 'cos of this mess."

I picked up my half of the sandwich and took a bite while staring into the room.

"Well, maybe when all of this is over." George said. "Maybe he'll gather the five of you for some family time."

"Five? Grayson, you mean?" I asked and George nodded. "I don't even know where Grayson is. I haven't seen him in a long time. I hope he's okay."

George raised a hand to run through the front of my hair, making me chuckle.

"He's probably just hiding somewhere, love." He assured me. "After all, his psycho sister has already tried to kill a few siblings, and she thinks Grayson betrayed her so it wouldn't surprise me if he's hiding to not get hurt by her."

I hummed, taking another bite of the sandwich.

"You could always write your dad and ask if he knows where he's at."

I nodded.

"I'll probably— yeah." I breathed. "Have you heard from anyone? Angie? Lee?"

"No." He shook his head. "I wrote them but they haven't written back."

"Maybe they haven't received it." I said. "I mean, Lee's always talking on the radio."

"Well, we know he's safe." George shrugged. "It's really just Angie we have to check up on."
