Jac lays on the road, still unconscious as the paramedics rush up to her.

"Oh God.." One of them says, seeing the amount of blood she had lost.

"I don't know, if this one will survive."

Forty minutes later...

Kian is staring out of his window waiting for something, anything.

A knock, a knock at the door.

He sighs, and then turns walking to the door, in which he opens slowly.

"Are you, Kian Madani?" The person asks.

"Yeah, I am." He replies.

"Well I need you to come with us." The person says.

"What why?" Kian asks confused.

"We are police officers." He replies "We have a Jac Naylor, on life support in hospital."

"I can't go!" Kian says "What about my kids?"

"We'll get a social worker, okay?"

"Yeah, okay." Kian replies, as he walks upstairs.

"Emma!" He shouts, as Emma comes from her room.

"Yes, Kian?" Emma asks, sweetly.

"Get your coat, please."

"Why?"

"Just get your coat."

Kian walks into Harriet's room, and picks her up, he takes her downstairs and puts her in pram.

She starts to stir, but stays asleep.

Emma walks downstairs, in her coat and holds onto Kian's hand.

"Wheres mummy?" Emma asks.

"I'll tell you later, okay?" Kian says, as they go with the police.

At the hospital...

Kian arrives at the hospital with the kids, who go with the social worker.

Kian takes the lift to Keller Ward, where Jac is being kept in ICU.

He walks into the room, and sits beside her bed.

She's on life support, she's so silent the only thing he can hear is her breathing.

She's peaceful too, she looks happy.

Almost too happy.

"Oh Jac..." he sighs, taking her hand and bursting into tears "I should of stopped you, from getting into this mess."

"I should of stopped you taking that glass, out."

"And I'm so sorry, for the things I've done." He says, rubbing her cheek. "If you can forgive me, I would really love that."

"And you know I'll miss you, if you don't make it." Kian says, still crying  "You don't get to die on me."

"But if you do, I'll make sure the kids are looked after."

Jac's eyes flash open for a second, before her monitors start to go off and Kian is kicked out.

He goes back to where the kids are, with the social worker.

"It's okay, you can go now." He smiles at the social worker, as he sits next to Emma and Harriet.

"Wheres mummy?" Emma asks again, sounding more upset and frustrated.
