Chapter 44 - I Don't Want To Hurt Anyone

Kellie takes a sharp intake of breath "I don't want to hurt anyone." She says, as she starts to cry.

"I know, I know you don't." Jac replies, still feeling the scalpel at her stomach.

"Just nobody is listening to me." She says.

"Well I'm here, I'm listening." Jac says, trying to keep herself calm.

"Hi, Kellie." Says a voice, and Kellie looks up.

"I'm Lucky Simpson, I just want to help you." Lucky says, approaching.

"No you don't!" Kellie shouts "Nobody, wants to help me!"

"Kellie, none of this was you fault." Lucky says, inching a bit closer.

"No stay back!" Kellie shouts again, digging the scalpel in deeper.

Jac starts to breathe intensely "It's okay."

"I'm not going to come any closer." Lucky replies.

"I just want my baby." Kellie cries, "I just want her."

"I know you do, but what happened wasn't your fault." Lucky smiles, sympathetically.

"If I got her checked sooner, I would still have my little girl with me." She sobs.

"You didn't mean to hurt anyone, and you don't want to hurt Miss Naylor do you?" Lucky says, getting a bit closer.

"So I'm going to take Miss Naylor's hand, and you are going to let her go." She says, walking up to them.

"No!" Kellie shouts, pulling Jac back a bit.

"Argh!" Jac shouts, feeling a bit of pain in her stomach.

Kian goes to lurch forward "Don't hurt her please!" He shouts.

"It's okay." Jac repeats to herself and Kellie.

"It's okay."

"No it's not okay!" Kellie shouts "It's not okay!"

Kian watches the scalpel against Jac's stomach, he wants to do something - he wants to save her.

He lurches forward, and grabs the scalpel and him and Kellie start to fight over it.

Jac gets knocked over, and knocked out in the process - nobody notices though.

"Let go of it!" Kian shouts, wrestling Kellie for the scalpel.

"Let me go!" Kellie shout, cries.

"Stop it!" Lucky shouts "Kellie, I'm going to help you okay?"

Lucky walks over "Come on, give it to me."

Kellie sighs, and passes Lucky the scalpel.

Kian gets up off the floor, and sighs.

Two people walk up to Kellie, and inject her with something.

"It's okay Kellie, you're safe now." Lucky smiles.

Kian looks around expecting to see Jac, he then looks at the floor.

"Jac!" He shouts bending down next to her, her head is bleeding a bit - and she's out cold.

"Oh...Jac." He sighs, also noticing a bit of blood coming from her stomach.

"Jac, can you hear me?" He asks, no response.

"Lucky, help me please..." He says, looking up at her.
