Kian walks out of the hospital room, heartbroken.

She was gone, and there was nothing he could do.

How was he going to tell the kids?

He, needs to go home.

So that's what he does, he goes home.

"Kids, come here." He says, sitting on the sofa.

"Daddy, where's mummy?" Harriet asks, looking up at him.

Kian sighs, "She got injured, and she's gone to heaven."

"So mum, isn't here anymore?" Emma asks, getting upset.

"Not anymore." Kian sighs.

Emma starts to cry, and she hugs into Kian.

"So mummy, no read story?" Harriet asks, confused.

Kian hugs her as well, "It'll just be us, and Noah for now on okay?"

"Otay." Harriet replies, as she sits on the floor playing with toys.

She doesn't understand what's going on, but Emma does.

"Right, I'm going to go make dinner." Kian says, standing up.

"Can you stop please?" Emma asks, tearfully.

"Stop, what?" Kian says, turning to face her.

"Stop pretending to be my, dad!" She shouts "Because you aren't him!"

"I'm not pretending to be your dad, I feel like your dad." Kian replies.

"Well, you aren't!" She shouts again, "My mother is dead, and it's your fault!"

"What?" Kian says, confused.

"People gossip at school, they say everything that's happened is your fault." She replies, "And it's probably true."

"Emma, that's-." He goes to say, before she interrupts him.

"I want to go back home, I want to go and live with dad."

"Emma..." He says, looking down sadly.

"You killed my mum, why would I want to be near you?" She asks, "I hate you."

He doesn't know how to react, because he hates himself too.

She storms off, and goes into her room.

Kian sighs, and holds onto the counter - you have to be strong, for the kids.

You can't break down, because they need you.

"Daddy, why Emma hate you?" Harriet asks, playing with her toy car.

"Uh, she's just upset with me at the moment." Kian smiles, trying not to let her see the pain on his face.

"Did, you stweal all food again?" She asks, cocking her head.

"Yeah, I did." He says, laughing bit.

He wants to cry, but he can't. The kids need him.

He decides to go and see Emma, he knocks on her door.

"Emma!" He says, knocking on her door.

"Leave me alone!" Emma, shouts angrily.

Kian walks in, and sits on the floor.

"I know you're angry with me, but it wasn't my fault." He says, looking down.

"It was your fault." She says, sniffling.
