Kian smiles at her "You really want to do this?"

"Yeah, I love you and our family." She smiles, back.

"Kids, come here." Jac says, patting the edge of the bed.

"Daddy's coming home." She Beams, down at them.

"Rweally?" Harriet smiles, up.

"Yeah, he is."

"Does that mean all the food, is going to be gone out of the house soon?" Emma asks, sighing.

Jac looks at Kian and smiles "Yeah, I think it does." She laughs, as he smacks her playfully.

"I'll be back later." Kian says, standing up "I'm going to go see, Noah."

"Okay." Jac says waving at him.

"Bye!" Harriet and Emma say, in unison.

Fifteen minutes later...

Kian walks down to NICU, and sits next to Noah's incubator he's slowly growing and he's opening his eyes.

"Oh hi, little guy." Kian smiles, as a nurse walks over.

"Hey, you can hold his hand through the hole if you want."

"Really?" He says, looking up at her.

"Yeah, you can." She smiles, walking away.

Kian stakes Noah's hand, in his own.

"I'll get mummy down here soon, I promise." He beams, "She really can't wait to meet you."

Just then, the door opens and Jac is being wheeled in.

"What's going on?" He asks, standing up and walking over to her.

"Well as I'm doing better, they said I could come see him." She smiles.

"That's great." He says, helping her up and into the chair next to the incubator.

"Hey, little man." She smiles, putting her hand on his.

"Oh, you're perfect." She says, looking like she's about to cry.

"Yeah, he is isn't he?" Kian says, standing next to her.

"Just why did he have to come so, early?" Jac sighs, looking up at him.

"Well I suppose, baby will do what baby wants."  Kian replies, putting his hand on her shoulder.

"Yeah, I suppose." She replies, playing with the cannula on her hand.

"Look he's okay, there is absolutely nothing to worry about."

"If you're sure." She smiles, looking at the baby in front of her.

Kian's phone starts to go off, and he walks out of the room.

"Look I've told you, stop ringing me and stay away from my wife." He says.

"No, I don't care just leave us alone." Kian replies, hanging up.

Why did these things always have to happen, when it was least appropriate?

He walks back in, and sees Jac starting to stand up by herself.

He goes to help her, but she stops him "I'm fine, I can do this myself." She replies, sitting back down in the wheelchair.

Kian wheels her down the corridor, and she turns to look at him.

"Hey, we have time don't we?" She smiles.

"What?" He says, looking at her confused.

"Check the store cupboard." She replies, and he does so.

"Why, what's going on?" He asks, confused.

"Is it empty?" She asks, looking up at him.

"Yeah, why?" Kian says, turning to face her confused.

She stands up and walks over to him, they start to kiss and she pulls him into the store cupboard.

The door slams shut.

Two hours later...

Jac lays asleep, in her hospital bed.

Kian is watching her sleep, he smiles feeling so lucky again.

Just then his phone rings again, and he walks out of the room.

"Look I told you, stop ringing me now."

"If I meet you, will you stop?" He says.

"Okay fine, I'll meet you in the basement but no funny business."

Kian walks away, and takes the lift down to the basement where he waits patiently.

"Kian, didn't think you would come." The person says.

"I did, so what do you want?" He asks, looking at the person.

"I want Jac back." The person replies.

"She's my wife, she got over you a long time ago." Kian replies "Go back to your own wife."

"Why should I?" The person says "We're done, and I miss Jac."

"Just leave her alone, she doesn't need you."

"Oh, she does." The person laughs "Especially when she sees me, she'll drop everything."

"She wouldn't, she wouldn't do that to me or her kids."

"I wouldn't be so sure of that, Kian." The person replies, before Kian lunges at him "Leave my wife alone, you bastard!"

Kian continues to beat the man up, and a fight ensues.

Eventually the fight stops, and Kian stands up "Come back here again, and I'll kill you."

"She doesn't need you and your problems, or your son." Kian says, walking away "Go home, Joseph."

Kian returns to Jac's beside and lays next to her, he wanted to keep her safe whatever that meant.

And if he had to kill Joseph, he would.
