"See? I told you" Bucky claims as Steve walks over to him after recruiting the Howling Commandos for his team. "They're all idiots" he laughs, taking a drink of his beer.
"How about you? You ready to follow Captain America into the jaws of death?" Steve asked his friend.
"Hell no" he responds simply. "That little guy from Brooklyn, who was too dumb not to run away from a fight" he continued "I'm following him." They pause for a moment until Bucky speaks up again. "But your keeping the outfit, right?" Bucky teased.

"You know what?" Steve looked to his poster on the wall behind the,. "It's kind of growing on me" they both laughed.
"How long has y/n been fighting in the war?" Bucky asked with deep concern but trying not to show it as the two men calmed down from their jokes.
"Well she joined the same time as me and worked on training the new recruits like me while she was being trained by Peggy, then after I became a dancing monkey she came out to the front and helped out at the base there" Steve explained to his friend with a knowing smirk.
"So why was she with you when you came to rescue me?"

"Really? Buck she practically lost it when she thought you were dead. She was willing to lose her dream job as an SSR agent just to try and save you. She refused to let me go get you without her"
"That can't be true" Bucky looks at his friend after taking another swig of his beer.
"Well she is one of the best agents that I've worked with" Steve tells Bucky proudly.
"Now I don't doubt that" he smiled back. Suddenly the cheerful bar filled with singing and laughter grew quiet as you entered. "What's going on?" The two men looked into the other room to see what was going on.
