"Oh my gosh ! Jasmine what happened ?" I asks frantically as I pull her inside the house while she limps holding the side of her stomach .
"I'm fine "she manages to say with a low raspy tone . Her voice box sounds like it had been beaten out the frame and the skin that I can see on her body is bruised and bloody . Either she got jumped or was involved in a really bad car accident . Either way ... I feel for her .
"Here come sit down " i tell her while leading her to the couch . I sit her down and she lays back letting tears run down her face . I sigh looking at this poor young girl sitting in front of me beat , bruised , and hurt . Seeing her like this , I can't help but to think about when Daniel beat me . I know exactly how she feels and all the pain she's going through . Plus I know that little boyfriend of hers had something to do with it.
I run to the kitchen to run warm water over a rag then grab the first aid kit before rushing back to her and doctoring her up . She winces as I clean all the blood off and rub some medicine over her now swollen black eye .
"I'm so sorry " she mumbles lowly
"You have nothing to be sorry about " I tell her in a reassuring tone
"Yes I do I'm supposed to be caring for you not the other way around "she sighs
I look down at her saddened face then exhale before rubbing her back for comfort . Little does she know she was supposed to be coming over to get fired and not to take care of me but obviously she has enough on her plate right now as it is . "Well I feel fine " I nod "but you don't , what happened ?" I ask
She slowly sits up and tears start to stream down her face before she quickly lays her head in her palms "my boyfriend he - " she stutters then blows out air as her face turns bright red "he beat me " I KNEW IT ! But for what though ?
"Wow I'm sorry to hear that "I say trying not to sound so overly interested in what happened "why would he do that ? "I asks as subtle as I can be
"Well you know how every Monday I post von as mcm as like a joke ? " she questions and I nod trying to forget how she almost got fired for that exact reason . Of course there's no excuse to hit a female but I can understand why he would be upset . "So I guess he on his period and took that shit to the heart and broke my phone and I smacked him then he punched me and dragged me all across the house kicking me and hitting me everywhere"she explains getting angry "I swear to god Imma get his ass killed !" She yells frustrated
I sigh and comfort her before speaking . I know exactly how she feels at this very moment . I didn't even hit Daniel and the things that happened the day he beat me is still to hard to even think about . I got him killed because of abuse so I know she wants to do the same . It still doesn't make it okay .
