TordMatt fluff: take a break

A/N: so @crustybich requested a tordmatt picnic so (also sorry it wont tag for some reason)

                                                                     Tord's POV

       Matt told me he found a really nice spot in the woods near the house and that he wanted to have a picnic. I've been working a lot lately, spending most of my time in the lab. I didn't want to go at first but he was able to convince me, saying I "needed fresh air" But if I'm being honest I'm just going to make him happy.

      As we kept walking the forest got more thick and harder to get through. We've been walking for a while now... if it wasn't Matt I'd assume I was gonna be murdered. But this is my boyfriend we're talking about. "We're here!" he chirped gesturing ahead of us.

     There was a big space with almost no trees but still pretty shaded. He took my hand and took me to a spot by a tree and we sat down. "crap, I forgot a blanket" I said setting down the basket as I crossed my legs in the soft grass.

      "It's not a big deal, we can just sit like this" He pat the floor with both of his hands making me laugh a bit "Well alright then." We spent a while just talking and having the lunch we packed. This is actually really nice. It's  been a while since we've just gotten to spend some quality time together. Maybe I have been working to much- "Here" I heard Matt say interrupting my thoughts.

      He handed me a flower crown he had made with some of the wild flowers around us. It was matching the one he was wearing. Aw, did he make them? That's so sweet. I smiled and gently took the delicate crown "Oh, thank you" I let out a small chuckle as I put it on.

     "Yeah! Now we match!" he said grinning widely. God he's so handsome, I really do love him. I had to be careful it didn't fall apart as I got it over my horns. There we go, now it should be fine. I looked back at him smiling a little more and planted a soft kiss on his cheek and he seemed pretty happy about that.

      I chuckled softly rolling my eyes. This is really nice. I'm glad I agreed to go.
