Liliana's pov

It's been a week since I decided that Jackson and I should get a divorce. It was still surreal and hard for me to accept but I know that even though I love Jackson I deserved better than the bare minimum and I couldn't keep accepting it. I give my all to my family and I couldn't be with a man who didn't do the same in return.

"Mama...mama...mama." Isabella babbled as she stood up in her crib. She has learned a few words such as mama and dada and she kept repeating them. I'm not even sure that she knew what she was saying, but I still loved hearing her talk.

"Good morning baby girl." I smiled picking her up and kissing her on the forehead. "Let's get you ready for daycare." I went and gave her a bath and got her dressed before getting myself ready as well and leaving to go to work.

"Is that Harper Avery award-winning surgeon Meredith Grey," I smirked joining Meredith at the front desk.

"Are you going to do that every time you see me?" She chuckled.

"Yeah, it's fun." I shrugged taking a sip of my coffee.

"How was your interview this morning?" Meredith winning the award was a big deal and of course, she had the attention of the whole medical world which meant she was constantly being interviewed which she hated.

"The same. They ask me a thousand different questions about my mother, or what led to this groundbreaking surgery. I hate all of the attention." She shook her head.

"Mer winning a Harper Avery is historic. You're going down in medical history. Enjoy it. These moments don't happen every day." I told her before glancing down the hallway where I saw Jackson. "Would you excuse me?" I said before walking off.

"Jackson," I called approaching him."Good morning, beautiful." He smiled.

"Don't good morning beautiful me." I scoffed. "My lawyer came by to give you the divorce papers last night, but no one came to the door even though your car was obviously outside.

"I must've been sleeping. Long day yesterday." He said.

"Oh, I bet." I scoffed. "Look can you please not act like a child. I don't want this divorce to be more difficult than it has to be." I sighed.

"It's not going to be because we're not getting a divorce." He shook his head.

"Yes, we are and the sooner you accept it the easier it'll be."

"Liliana, I'm not giving up on us. We can work things out." He said.

"The time to work things out is over. Just take the damn papers the next time the lawyer comes over." I huffed before walking off. It was too little too late for Jackson to act like he wanted to save his marriage now, he had plenty of time to show me the effort that I needed from him and he failed.

"You good?" Amelia asked seeing the frown on my face as I made it over to the front desk."Yeah, just a long morning." I sighed as I leaned against the desk."Well if it makes you feel any better about your morning, my morning started with me walking in on Owen and Carina Deluca finishing up a sex session." Over the last few weeks, Owen and Amelia decided to divorce. Things were still really amicable with them and they seemed to get along better as friends."Are you okay?" I asked."Yeah, amazing?" She shrugged as I glanced at her unsure if that was true. "Really, I'm fine. Owen and are way better as friends than husband and wife." She said. Before I could say anything we were interrupted by the sound of a patient's heart monitor going off as she began to code. We rushed over to her grabbing the defibrillator but pausing when we realized she was perfectly fine."What's going on?" The woman asked nervously as heart monitors across the ER began to flatline even though the patients were very much alive. All of the new interns were running around unsure of what to do."Ma'am, relax. Everything is fine." I assured her even though I had no idea what was going on. "I'm going to page Bailey," I said to Amelia before walking away and paging her."This is going to be a hell of a day," I mumbled to myself. As I looked around our chaotic ER. I went to grab my iPad to check my medical records as I prepared to check in on my patients but I couldn't. I was locked out."What the hell?" I frowned."What?" Owen asked looking up from the front desk computer."I can't get into my medical records." I shook my head as a message popped up on the front desk computer. I walked over to see what it said."Hello, Grey Sloan." I read as a green message popped up on the black screen."Currently we control your hospital. We own your servers. We own your systems. We own your patients' medical records." Owen read."We've been hacked." I frowned. We continued to read the message which told us that we wouldn't regain control of our hospital unless we paid the hackers 4,933 Bitcoin which translates to 20 million dollars. We soon went to a conference room to meet Bailey who had paged us."When are we going to get our records back?" I frowned."Look. I've got kids up there. I don't even know what meds they're on." Alex frowned."We can't even order meds! And we can't monitor our patients." Kepner huffed."Okay, everyone stop," Bailey said. "I thought we were prepared for this. We were supposed to have a whole cybersecurity seminar." Bailey said facing the IT guy who stood beside her."We are. It's this Friday." He nodded."Bailey, what the hell are we going to do?" I sighed before we were interrupted by the sound of an intern loudly running into a medical cart falling to the ground."Alright. See, that. That right there is what we're not going to do. We're not gonna go running around flapping our arms like the sky is falling, alright." Bailey said sternly. "Just because we've lost our computers, we don't have to lose our minds, okay?" She said taking a deep breath. "We need to take a deep breath. We need to calm down because we don't want to panic our patients! We will solve this problem, and we will solve it calmly and quietly. So none of our very vulnerable patients needs to know that anything out of the ordinary is happening, okay?""Uh..." April said as we heard people coming down the hall and soon saw FBI agents walking through the hallway."Everyone step away from your computer. Stop using the phones. Turn off your phones!" They instructed people."Umm, I think people will know," Richard said lowly to Bailey. She had to go handle things with the FBI while the rest of us began tending to patients using paper charts. We have to do everything manually since our computer system was down which would be difficult but possible."Frankie's CT scan is clear but it could be too early to see a new clot or a bleed. So we're gonna watch him very closely." I explained to my ped's patient's mother."Okay. How, uh, worried should I be?" His mom asked."Oh, we got this. We've got him." Alex assured her."Thank you." She nodded before walking into the patient's room."I'm concerned it might be an early warning of another stroke." I sighed as I turned my attention to Alex."Found him," Jo said from down the hallway as she walked our way with a nurse who was working on Frankie last night."Oh, good. I need to know if Frankie Baker got his vitamin K last night."I wasn't working last night." He shook his head."Who was?" Alex frowned."I don't know. It's in the medical records." He said as Jo went into the patient's room."Which are currently unavailable." I reminded."I need to know if I should put him on heparin or not because if he doesn't need it, it could cause a brain bleed," Alex said."And if he needs it and doesn't get it, we're talking about a possible stroke." I sighed. "You don't know who was on this morning?""I don't." He shook his head."Doc McStuffins was on!" Jo said joining us in the hallway."Who!" Alex frowned."It's a cartoon. Not a real doctor." I explained."Frankie says he got an injection. He can't remember from who but he was watching Doc McStuffins. His mom says it's in at 6:00 am, so who was..." Jo began to ask."At 6:00? Karen! She's on a 12-hour split. Uh, she was heading to L&D." The nurse said."Call L&D.," Alex said."No phones." I reminded him."Got it. I'm going." Jo said before she and the nurse began jogging to L&D."Should we tell her what's going on?" Alex asked."Well, I'm a big advocate for truth-telling when it could do any good at all and it usually can, but in this case, it'll only cause panic," I said as Alex nodded his head in agreement. We continued handling the crisis as best as we could, but things only got worse when the power went out briefly before soon back on. I took a short break to go check on Isabella."Any progress?" I asked Bailey seeing her in the hallway."No." She huffed. These people won't stop controlling this hospital unless we give them $20 million." She huffed."What?" I frowned."Yes. Avery offered to pay it but if we give in hackers everywhere will get the idea to hack hospitals across the country for ridiculous ransoms." She huffed."So what are you going to do?" I asked."I'm going to give the FBI a little more time but if there isn't some kind of solution by the time Avery and Pierce get back we'll just have to pay them." She huffed."Did you say, Avery and Pierce?" I frowned."Yeah, with the machines being shut down they had no choice but to fly their patients to another hospital for surgery since he's on ECMO.""Oh." I nodded trying to remind myself not to be jealous. Jackson and I are getting a divorce. His being on a plane with Maggie was not my concern.Soon I was paged by Alex to Frankie's room. He was now throwing up and getting sicker and we were having trouble finding his nurse from this morning."I just can't stand here and do nothing. I can't just watch this." Alex sighed as we stood in the hallway looking into Frankie's room."Well, let's lay it out." I sighed. "Frankie has a known risk for ischemic stroke. He has no known history of hemorrhagic ones. We have no reason to believe this is a brain bleed, but we have every reason to believe he may have thrown another clot.""I know what I gotta do." Alex sighed. We agreed that the best decision was to give Frankie the heparin and just hope for the best.

This chapter is more of a filler chapter so there wasn't a lot of drama.
