Liliana's pov

"We need four units of o neg" April ordered as we got off of the truck and a crowd began forming around us

"Bring that bench over here" I say to one of the nurses before walking over to Meredith and Maggie. "They went to cut off the door and all I could think was that he's gonna bleed out. We need more time, he deserves more time and I couldn't give up on him, so I thought how about instead of more time we make less distance to the O.R." I explain

"So you brought the whole damn car" Maggie smiles

"Yep" I smile

"How is he" Meredith asks as she gets on the flat bed

"He's scared, but hanging on. Barely" I sigh

"This isn't the way we usually do this" Webber says

"Well I had to do it this way or he would've died out there" I say

"No, no, no. You don't have to explain, we see why you did it" Jackson assures me before I climb back on top of the flat bed

"Hey, Keith. It's Meredith" Meredith says as she got closer to the car.

"Thanks for having me over" Keith smiles. "How's Joan? What's the word on my baby" he asks

"We don't know yet, but we'll find out for you" Meredith sighs

"There's been a lot of talking, but not a lot of getting me out of the car. That's still the plan, right? Get Keith out of the car" he asks

"Yeah, that's the plan" I assure him

"When Joanie called and told me she was pregnant, you know what my first thought was? Run like hell. We'd only had one date. And she agrees, it kind of sucked. I think we just had sex just to stop the awkward silence. And then boom...insta family, like sea monkeys. It was scary. Now I can't believe I ever felt like that. Now all I want to do is see them" he says as we all tend to him

"And you're going to. I'm going to make sure of that" I say

"Garcia, Grey, we're ready to cut the roof" Owen says walking over to us

"Okay, Keith, it's going to get really loud and it's gonna get scary, but when it's done we're going to get you out, okay" I say

"Loud, scary, free" Keith nods. I put a firefighters jacket over him to protect him from debris before getting off of the flat bed. Sparks flew as the saw started up and the jaws of life started breaking apart the car.

"Dr. Garcia" Stephanie says as she runs over to me

"Yes" I answer

"Dr. Torres and Dr. Robbins need you in O.R. 3 to assist on a surgery" she says

"I'm kind of busy here" I say

"No, you should go. You've did more then enough by getting this patient here. At this point he's in need of trauma and general surgeons. Go help Torres and Robbin's, we'll take care of him" Owen says

"Okay, just save him. I didn't get him this far for him to die on us" I sigh before following Stephanie to the O.R. and getting scrubbed in. Callie and Arizona fill me in on the patient details as we start operating.

"Catheter is working and bleeding has stopped" Arizona says

"No tear in the dura amazingly. So a intern opened her collar" I ask

"Oh, stupid" Callie sighs

"Wait, was that the intern that we thought was an attending" Arizona asks
