Liliana's pov

"Dr. Garcia, are you done with surgery" Ben asks walking into the room as I scrub out of my surgery

"Yeah, I'm just finishing up. Why" I ask

"Dr. Grey needs you for a consult" he says

"Well I still need to get this patient to recovery and I have other patients already waiting. Can you page Shepherd or another surgeon" I ask. The hospital is extremely busy today after a lot of patients were brought in because of a major pileup after a rigg flipped over and I already have multiple patients lined up waiting to be checked on.

"All of the other surgeons are already in surgery except for Shepherd and we've already paged her, but she's avoiding Dr. Grey so she still hasn't came for the consult yet and we need to get a neuro consult before we move the patient" he says

"God, Amelia is ridiculous. Just let me take this patient to recovery then I'll come do a consult" I sigh. Amelia and Meredith had also gotten into a argument the same night that Amelia and I got into our argument and it resulted in Meredith kicking Amelia out of the house. I'm not sure what it was about, but I know that they have been avoiding each other since then which is difficult since they work together. Regardless of what they are going through, Amelia cannot ignore Meredith's page when she needs her for a consult, so I'm definitely going to have to have a discussion with her about that even though that's the last thing I want to do right now since Amelia and I still aren't on speaking terms after our argument. I'm not open to having any type of friendship with her until I receive an apology because she went to far when she mentioned Derek in our argument the other day. I don't know what's gotten into Amelia lately, but she needs to get it together because she can't go around doing and saying whatever she wants because she's upset especially not at work. Once I finish scrubbing out I take my patient to recovery and check his post op vitals before going to tend to Meredith's patient.

"You need a consult" I say as I walk into the room

"Yeah, I know you were busy, but Amelia is ignoring my page and this patient needs a neuro consult before I can move him" she says

"She is such a child. We are professionals, I know you two are having some issues right now, but we have patients. She can't just stop doing her job because she's upset" I shake my head as I start putting on gloves

"You're right. I don't know what's gotten into her lately" she sighs

"Neither do I, but she's going to have to pull it together before I have to suspend her surgical privileges" I say and Meredith nods her head in agreement. Of course Amelia was still upset about the Owen situation, but from the way she's been acting, it's obviously more then that going on, I just don't know what.
I begin to examine the patient and check his vitals as Meredith fills me in on his injuries.

"From what I'm seeing there aren't any severe injuries to the brain. Our main focus should be on his abdominal injuries, but I do think that it'll be best to still get him a head C.T. just to be on the safe side, especially since he's suffered a seizure" I say

"You're right. I'm going to page Warren and have him take him up" Meredith says

"Okay, I'm going to give him lorazepam in the mean time just to try to prevent anymore seizures from occurring before we get him up to C.T." I say

"Okay" Meredith nods. I turn around to try to find the medication in the medicine cabinet as Meredith begins typing patient information into the laptop.
