Chapter 18 Candy's POV

"You guys fight so much!" I say as Minho and I sit down under the tree we usually do.

"She always starts it," Minho says.

"Not always," I mumble and begin to eat.

"Minho, why are you always hanging out with Candy?" some short guy asks.

"She's my mom, obviously," Minho laughs.

"But she looks younger than you...." he trails off.

"Chuck, are you really that dumb?" Minho asks.

"I guess..." Chuck says shyly.

"Candy and I," Minho pauses and puts an arm around me. I blush of course, and Minho continues with "Are dating."

"Seriously?" Chuck asks while looking at me.

"Yes, why?" I ask.

"Him?" Chuck laughs.

"Hey. That's offensive to some people ya' know," Minho says. He doesn't look mad or annoyed though.

"Oops," Chuck laughs, then asks, "Oh wait, can I sit here with you guys?"

"N-" Minho starts to say but i cover his mouth.

"Of course," I smile.

"Thanks," Chuck smiles then sticks his tongue out at Minho. I pull my hand away.

Minho mumbles something.

"What?" I raise an eyebrow.

"Oh. Nothing," he smirks.

"Where's Kayla?" Chuck asks.

"She's still with Newt," I say.

"How long has she been talking to him?" Chuck asks.

"About two hours," Minho answers.

"That's a long time," Chuck says.

"Well they had a lot to talk about," I say. Minho smirks and Chuck looks confused.

"What were they talking about?" he asks.

"About how they like each other," Minho answers.

"MINHO!" I yell.

"WHAT? I WAS TELLING THE TRUTH!" he yells back.

"Awe. They'd make a cute couple," Chuck says.

"Not as cute as us," Minho smirks and puts his arm around me again.

"Sure. I think Candy would look cuter with Uriah though," Chuck laughs.

"WHAT?" Minho yells.

"I'm just saying," Chuck laughs. He doesn't look scared at all.

Minho begins to get up, but I pull him back down. "But I like Minho, not Uriah," I giggle.

"Good. Or I would have to talk to him," Minho says.

"Ooh. Someone's jealous," Chuck laughs.

"Someone's delirious," Minho scoffs.

"Sure," Chuck says and begins to eat. Minho begins stuffing his face angrily.

"How ladylike of you," I laugh.

"Thanks," Minho laughs with a mouthful of food.

"Gross," Chuck says.

We finish our food after a while and take our plates back to Frypan. Chuck stays to help him with the dishes.
Minho and I decide to check on Kayla and Newt.
