Chapter 20 Candy's POV

I hand my plate to Kayla, and Minho does the same. She rolls her eyes, causing us to laugh, and walks away.

"You're acting weird today," Minho said.

"Am I? I haven't noticed," I say trying to avoid any questions.

"Yeah. I'm pretty sure you know why too....since it's you and all," Minho says.

"I'm not sure that makes sense," I giggle.

"It made sense to me," he mumbles.

"What?" I ask, even though I know what he said.

"Nothing," he says quickly. I just roll my eyes.

It's silent for a minute, then Minho says "The Glade wasn't always like this," while using his hands to gesture to our surroundings.

"What was it like then?" I ask.

"Empty," he replies and lays back onto the ground.

"There was no trees?" I ask.

"Nope," he says.

"No crops?" I ask.

"Nope," he says.

"No showers?" I giggle.

"Actually, there were. If there weren't, that shank Newt would have smelled terrible," Minho laughs.

"You probably would've too," I laugh.

"No, I'm too attractive for that," he says and runs a hand through his hair.

"How do you know you're attractive?" I ask. "There's no mirrors here," I giggle.

"Oh. Are you saying I'm not?" he asks.

"No. I'm saying that you don't know that you are," I reply.

"Oh. So, are you saying I am attractive?" he smirks.

"Maybe," I blush.

"Awe. Come here," he says and pulls me down against him.

"Hey Minho, are you busy?" a guy that I recognize as being the annoying runner walks up.

"Are you blind?" Minho says. I can sense the eyeroll.

"No. I might need glasses though," the guy laughs.

"You're gonna need a lot more if you don't leave," Minho threatens.

"Awe. Minnie is angry," I giggle.

"Awe. How cute," the guy laughs.

"Please leave," Minho says.

"What would you do if I left?" the guy laughs.

"I don't know, because you haven't left," Minho snaps.

"Well maybe I shou- Oh....Hey Gally," the guys says.

"Hey Lewis. What the shuck are you two doing?" Gally asks.

"What does it look like we're doing?" Minho asks.

"I don't know, but it looks like you guys should get a shucking room before you make people sick," Gally says.

"Last time I checked, we shared a room with you, so you might wanna rethink that idea," Minho says. I bet he's smirking.

"Then get a different room, or go into the creepy forest," Gally replies.

"Uhm no thanks. We weren't going to do anything 'inappropriate' anyway ya nasty shank. What is wrong with you?" I ask.

"A lot of things are wrong with him," Minho laughs.

"At least I'm not creepy," Gally snaps and stomps off.
