You let out a grunt as Alex elbowed your stomach to grab you attention.
"Fuck Alex, what the hell."
Lena has to bite her lip to keep herself from laughing.
"As I was saying Agent (l/n), this is Lena Luthor. She'll be working with us from now on. Please show her around the lab so she can become familiar with it. I'll leave the two of you to it. If you have any questions, Lena, don't hesitate to come by my office."
"Wait, Alex...." You glared as she waved you off. With a sigh, you turned around to find Lena giving you a small smile. The sight of it making you your stomach do somersaults. You clear your throat and return the smile. "I suppose that we have a lab to introduce you to then."
"Lead the way, Agent (l/n)."
"Please. We'll be working together. Call me (y/n)."
"Then (y/n), please call me Lena."

You were nervous and resulted in your talking way too quickly for anyone to understand. Lena tried to keep up and not say anything about how nervous you seemed but it was difficult for her to understand what you were saying.
She places a hand on your shoulder, making you turn invisible as soon as she touched you. You wanted to say that you turned invisible because she surprised you but it was because of the fact that she touched you. You couldn't help but cringe about the fact that you couldn't handle her being close to you.
"Sorry! You scared me."
You made yourself return back to normal as you played it off like she had scared you.
"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to scare you. I just wanted to tell you to take a deep breath. We're no in any hurry. It's a little difficult to understand what you're saying."
"Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't realize how fast I was talking. I'll go over the machines again."
She thanks you and the both of you continue the tour of the lab without any problems.

You thought you would stop panicking whenever she was close to you but that hadn't been the case. For almost a year, everytime that Lena would hug you, touch you to grab your attention, kiss your cheek, or simply bump into you, you would turn invisible. Lena would ask you about it but you just simply tell her that she scared you.
She believed you for a while but then she started to pay more attention to your reactions when she did something and it led for her to find out that you possibly had feelings for her. She wasn't 100% sure about her hypothesis so she decided to test it out.
To test it, she wrote down the number of times that you turned invisible with others and the number of times that you turned invisible with her for about a month. Once the month was over, it led her to realize that you turned invisible nearly 10x as much with her than with anyone else combined. She had been correct and that made her happy.

Lena was relieved to find you in the lab on your own. She would've had to wait for another day if you would've been with one of your assistants.
"So (y/n), I did a little experiment on the side to test out something. I was hoping you would look over it and tell me if I made an error in my conclusion."
"Oh sure, give me a second." You wrote down a couple of things for your notes and then made your way over to Lena. She handed you the file and left you the seat for you to take. She was being suspicious and you couldn't tell what she was up to. "So what is it about?"
"Just a fun little experiment to pass the time."
"Mhm."
You eyes widened as you read the contents of her experiment
"..in conclusion, based on the amount of times that (y/n) has turned invisible around Lena. I concur that (y/n) does in fact seem to have feelings for Lena Luthor."
"I...I can explain."
"Well was I wrong?"
Defeated and with no possible way to deny, you admit the truth.
"Your conclusion is correct."
"Good. I was hoping that it would be. Would you like to go on a date with me then?"
You nearly get whiplash with how quick your raise your head to look at her.
"You want to go on a date with me? Are you serious?"
"I conducted a whole experiment to make sure that I was correct. I think you should know by now that I'm quite serious about this whole thing."
"Then I would love to go on a date with you."
