This chapter takes place during Season 5 Episode 9. I am not responsible for spoilers in the comments.

A "Supernatural" convention. The idea was preposterous, and yet here she was, standing in the middle of one. She had caught wind of it and if she was being honest she was still pissed about how the books portrayed her. But. She was curious as to how fans reacted to the character. So she was going undercover.

She went and bought a blonde wig to fit the description given in the book- because of course Chuck stereotyped her like that. The book also gave her blue eyes, but she wasn't buying colored contacts when she could just use her real ones. She wore a pair of black combat boots, skinny jeans, and a pink flannel shirt that was tied just above her stomach and had a dark gray cami underneath. She also used makeup and a lot of shading to make her face look as different as possible.

She had to admit it was weird standing in the middle of people who were dressed like monsters, Sam and Dean, and various other people she knew. A genuine smile came onto her face as she saw someone portraying Ash. Her eyes scanned the crowd and noticed quite a few Marley's- all with a very similar look to herself, and all wearing those plastic fang things to mimic her canines. Her eyebrows rose in amusement as she noticed most of the Marleys, Sams, and Deans holding stuffed wolves. A laugh almost escaped her. Guess that was the closest she was going to get to seeing her real self here.

Her eyes caught on a girl who looked to be her age, maybe a little younger, and she wasn't wearing a costume. She was dressed in a short sleeve plaid shirt under a blue sweater vest type thing, a brown denim skirt, black knee high socks, and tan flats. Marley tilted her head at the bizarre outfit. Curiosity got the best of her and she walked up to the girl.

"Are you supposed to be a certain character?" Marley spoke with the lightest hint of a southern accent, wanting to make sure she was as disguised as possible to Chuck, wherever he was.

The blonde turned to look at her. "Oh no. I'm here to help Mr. Edlund make sure everything goes smoothly. We're kind of personal friends."

The way she said it made it very clear how proud she was to be able to call the author her friend. "Oh, very cool."

"I'm Becky by the way." She stuck out her hand to shake and Marley reciprocated.

"I'm Marley." As soon as the words left her tongue, she realized how stupid that sounded.

"I can tell." Becky rolled with it. "She's not the best character and she also completely chose the wrong brother."

"You like Sam?" Marley quirked an eyebrow.

"I mean how can you not. He's so tall and muscular and handsome. In comparison, Dean is just kind of a let down. Oh and Sam's eyes." She swooned. "They're just so beautiful. It's like they change color depending on how the light hits them."

Marley's brow furrowed. Had this girl met them? Chuck wasn't a good enough writer to put that much detail into his book. But she let it slide and simply shrugged her shoulders.

"I don't know. Dean's kind of great." A slight blush appeared on her cheeks.

"Well of course you would say that. You know the big LARPing hunt doesn't start until 7, right?"

"Yeah. Yeah obviously." Marley said giving an awkward nod.

"Well I have to go. Mr. Edlund's panel starts soon.

Marley watched as she walked away. She was one weird chick. She decided to walk around some of the vendor stands they had around. Honestly it was impressive how much stuff they had and how creative some of it was. It was also bizarre as all get out considering she knew everything was real.
