|Dylan's POV|

After last night, my life just kept on getting better and better.
Cameron insisted that he would take me on a date today and of course I agreed.

He said he is taking me somewhere where only him and his mom know about it. I am super excited that he is going to take me to such a special place.

I put on a gray shirt and light washed blue shorts with a pair of combat boots. I slip a hair tie around my wrist as well. I leave my hair down and go to grab my phone.

I skip down the stairs and waltz through the kitchen.
"Where do you think you're going?" My mom asks suspiciously.
"Oh I...." I try to make up an excuse.
"Cameron?" She asks with a smirk.
I blush and walk out of the kitchen.

I yell goodbye to my family and step outside into the warm, spring air. I take a deep breath and walk over to the Smith household. Just as I'm about to knock to door swings open to a rushed Cameron.

"Oh hey angel I was just on my way to go get you." He says with a smile.
"Were you?" I ask.
"Yeah let's get-"
"Hi Dylan!" Christine, Cameron's little sister, squeals.
I smile brightly at her.
"Hey there Princess Christine." I reply, picking her up into a hug.

"Way to steal my girl Christine." Cameron pouts.

His girl?

"Oops, silly me." Christine apologizes.
"Tell your mom and dad hi for me okay Christine?" I ask.
"You got it. Bye guys!" She says with a wave, closing the door behind her.

"Your girl?" I ask playfully.
Cameron blushes a rosy pink as he opens the car door for me.
"Pretend I never said that." He tells me.
"Awe but what if I liked it?" I frown.
"You did?" He asks, hopefully.
"Yeah...I kind of did." I respond.

His grin is wide as he closes my door for me and walks over to to drivers seat.

We drive until we're nearly out of town.
Cameron parks in the front of a dirt path, lined with flowers. We step out of the car and he takes my hand in his. His hands warm me as they intertwine with my hands.

"This is where my mother and I would get away, before she became a worldwide lawyer." He explains.
"Only me and her knew about this place. But now you know as well." He says, turning to me.

I kiss his cheek and he grins brightly.
"There's even more." He says to me.
He starts walking ahead of me, our hands not leaving each other.

He leads me to a beautiful log cabin with a firepit.
"It's beautiful." I gasp.
"Not as beautiful as you angel." Cameron says his eyes shining.
I blush.
"Come on this is the best part." He tells me leading me deeper into the forest. Soon enough we reach a huge pond filled with dark blue water.

I gasp.
"Cameron it's-"
"Beautiful?" He finishes.
"Yeah." I say with a smile.

We sit at the edge of the shore and he puts his arm around me.
"So what do you think?" He asks me.
"I love it!" I squeal.
He chuckles at my reaction.
We sit there just staring into the lake for about 15 minutes until...

He stands up and bows down at me.

"May I have this dance?" He asks.
"Of course you can." I answer, standing up.
His hands go around my hips and my arms loop around his neck.
There is no music actually playing but there is music inside of me.

The sun sets while we are dancing and I think to myself.

This is really happening.

I'm dancing with the guy I love the most.

He loves me.
I love him.
And everything suddenly makes sense to me in that moment.

After about 10 minutes the sky turns into darkness and the sky rumbles.
Thunder shoots through the sky and the rain pours over us.

Our smiles are visible as we continue to dance in the rain.

He spins me and as I come back up I seal the moment with a kiss.

"Does this mean-"
"Shhhh." I cut him off.

We stay there for a few minutes just kissing in the rain.

He pulls away for a moment and looks at me.
"Come on angel we should get inside." He suggests.
I nod and he leads us back to the log cabin.

In the log cabin, Cameron immediately goes to get us some blankets and hot chocolate.

He makes us some s'mores and we cuddle together under a blanket and watch horror movies.

My phone rings during the movie so I pick it up. Before I answer it I give Cameron a sympathetic look he just smiles and waves it off.

"Hello." I answer.
"Dylan, this is Mom." She replies.
I freeze. Shit I forgot to tell mom I was going to sleep here.
"Uh hey mom." I say.
"Where are you sweetie? Are you hurt?" She asks.
"No I'm fine. I'm super sorry I forgot to tell you I am going to sleep over with the Smiths." I try to lie.

"But we live next door hun. You couldn't have walked home?" She asks suspiciously.
"No I am wayyyy too tired. See you tomorrow! Bye!" I rush, ending the call.

"Your mom?" Cameron asks with a silly smile.
"Yeah." I groan, leaning my head in his shoulder.
