Ratchet had a short temper, it wasn't new information for anyone. But an exception to that would be you. Despite how frustrated you made him with your incessant irrational questions, touching all his projects even when told not to, and (albeit accidentally), interupting his rants, he just couldn't get mad at you. It angered him more than anything. Even with the fluffy feelings in his spark whenever you were around, Ratchet was perfectly fine with the way things were with being your occasional guardian and that was it. Well, until Smokescreen showed up and took you over. The young bot was overly flirty with you, making you laugh and offering to take you on drives. Now that made Ratchet's temper even shorter if possible. He grew to not be able to stand Smokescreen (who knew exactly what he was doing) and one day he snapped.
