No matter how hard Ratchet tried not to get attached to you, he just couldn't. Perhaps you reminded him of someone that he couldn't place, or you just appealed to him in some way. He was sure that he loved your creativity and your determination. You always found a way to work around the worst of situations. You weren't his charge, but sometimes he wondered if he should have been your guardian. Maybe he could have gotten to know you better. Sometimes the issues you expressed that were happening at school made him angry. How that school bully Vince could affect so many peoples lives so negatively. It seemed every day you came back with an issue that Ratchet wished so dearly he could help with.
