Pʀᴇsᴇɴᴛ

P Damon sat, trying to be as patient as he possibly can, watching F Bonnie work her magic to find a way to tell where Bonnie was and who summoned her. Although he looked calm on the outside, or as calm as Damon Salvatore can be, he was freaking the hell out in his head.

'What if I lose her, again? What if she's hurt? What if I never see her again? Who summoned her? Is she still alive? Is someone trying to hurt her? Why can't we find her?'

Damon has gone over The Who, What, Where, and Why so many times in his head that it's like a mantra in his head.

"She's going to be fine. Calm yourself." F Damon said to his past self.

"How do you know that?" He asked.

"We're talking about Bonnie freaking Bennett. She's the strongest person we know." Said F Damon with a smirk. "If anyone should be worried it should be the person that summoned her."

P Damon took a big breath. His future self was right. Bonnie was a strong and powerful witch who could take care of himself. She's never needed anyone to take care of her before, or defend her, so he had nothing to worry about.

'And yet here we sit...worried out of our minds.' The voice in his head groaned.

"Wait, Bonnie, shouldn't you know where she is since she's you?" Caroline asked. "I mean, she's you, which means what happens to her has already happened to you."

F Bonnie smiled big.

"Of course, duh. I've been so busy trying to find her that I didn't even think about that." She said as she moved to sit in the middle of the floor and cross her legs. With a big breath, she closed her eyes and allowed herself to comb through every memory she had of all the times she'd been summoned. After a few minutes of silence, with several sighs of impatience coming from P Damon, F Bonnie opened her eyes and jumped to her feet.

"I know where she is." She said.

"Where?" Caroline asked.

F Bonnie turned to her friend with a smile. "With you."

Caroline looked confused, along with everyone else, but F Damon. "What do you mean Bonnie is with Caroline?" Tyler asked.

"I meant what I said - she's with Future Caroline. She is also the one who summoned her." Said F Bonnie.

"Me? Summoned Bonnie? How? I'm not a witch." Caroline stated.

"I can't go into detail, but just know that a lots changed since this time."

"Okay, now that we know where she is, how do we get her back?" Asked P Damon. "I need my woman back."

F Bonnie and F Damon smiled at him. "I'm going to send F Damon here back to the future to get her."

"Why not send me?" P Damon asked.

"Well, Damon, because you don't know the steps to take to do a time traveling spell and F Damon here does." F Bonnie said softly. "He will have to explain it and show it to P Bonnie because I don't have the time to explain and show it to you."

P Damon scoffed but kept quiet.

F Bonnie looked to F Damon. "You ready?"

"F Damon smiled.

"Let's do this, baby."

Future

"I'm sorry. I just - I still can't believe Damon is my husband and the father of my children. I mean - how is that my even possible?" Bonnie asked a smiling Caroline. "How was I even able to conceive with him being a vampire and all?"

Caroline shook her head. "I can't tell you that, however, what I can tell you is that you find a way to do exactly that."

"Why? Why would I - "

"You love him. You fell in love with Damon so hard, and so deeply, that you spent a very long time finding a way to make your family happen and when you did finally conceive, it was like a miracle," Caroline interrupted, her voice filled with sincerity.

Bonnie's eyes welled up with tears as she gazed at her children playing in the distance. She couldn't help but marvel at how her love for Damon had defied all odds, overcoming the challenges that came with their unique circumstances. The thought of her children, a beautiful blend of her and Damon, brought a sense of joy and fulfillment that she had never imagined possible.

"You're right, Caroline," Bonnie whispered, her voice filled with a mix of gratitude and wonder. "It truly is a miracle. And I wouldn't change a single thing about our unconventional journey."

Caroline placed a comforting hand on Bonnie's shoulder, her eyes reflecting understanding. "Sometimes, love transcends all boundaries, Bonnie. It doesn't adhere to societal norms or logical explanations. It simply exists, and it's a force that can move mountains. Your love for Damon is a testament to that."

As they stood there, embracing the warmth of their friendship, Bonnie couldn't help but reflect on the trials they had faced together. The battles fought, sacrifices made, and moments of doubt overcome. It had been a tumultuous path, but one that had led them to this point of blissful contentment.

"But what about the future, Caroline? I understand that this is our future, however, now that I know the truth, I'm worried if things will change." Bonnie questioned, a hint of uncertainty creeping into her voice. "What lies ahead for us? Can we truly find stability in this world of darkness and unpredictable life?"

Caroline's expression turned serious, her eyes searching Bonnie's for reassurance. "The future is uncertain for all of us, my dear friend. But what matters most is the present. We have each other, and we have a love that has defied every obstacle thrown our way. With that, we can face anything."

Bonnie took a deep breath, her heart filled with a newfound sense of hope. She knew that the journey ahead would not be without its challenges, but she also knew that she was not alone. With Damon by her side, and Caroline as her unwavering support, she felt invincible.

Together, they would navigate the complexities of their world, weaving their own path amidst the chaos. And as they continued to build their family, Bonnie was certain of one thing - love would always find a way, even in the most extraordinary circumstances.

With determination etched on their faces, Bonnie and Caroline shared a knowing smile. They were ready to embrace the unknown, armed with the unbreakable bond of friendship and the power of love.
