A/N: Before we even get into this, I have a genuine, but also stupid question for you guys. Out of Scott, Ayla, Stiles, Piper and Lydia, which Scooby Doo characters would each be? I'm literally laughing while writing this, but it comes up multiple times so I thought I'd ask your opinion.

SCOOBY GANG
[3×13]

THE IMAGE OF A BLUE EYED COYOTE REMAINED IN AYLA'S MIND AS SHE GOT READY FOR THE DAY. It had been one of her many visions over the past few days. She tried to push it from her mind as she attempted to put on eyeliner.

Why was she so bad at eyeliner? Lydia and Piper almost always did it for her. But Lydia was already at school working on some project.

Ayla wasn't sure what Piper was up to. She couldn't help but wonder if the other girl missed her as much as she missed her. She knew that the breakup had been for the best, but that didn't mean she wouldn't miss her friend. They had seen each other at school, they just hadn't spoken. They had agreed to take a bit of a break from each other and so they were.

Ayla did her slightly crooked eyeliner before checking to make sure the rest of her was fine. She had brushed out her dark hair which was just starting to grow out past her shoulders. And she had thrown on grey jeans and a cropped black sweater.

She walked out of her bathroom and grabbed her bag from her bedroom, before making her way to the kitchen.

She found her stressed looking father standing in the kitchen. Kayla was traveling again, which had left Chase to supervise his seventeen year old daughter for once. It wasn't for long though. Kayla would be back in a few days and Derek was supposed to be returning soon.

Ayla honestly wasn't sure when Derek was coming home. He hadn't given her a specific date and the two hadn't talked in a few days. Ayla was giving him two weeks of being MIA before she got overly worried. It was Derek. He went missing regularly. But a part of her knew him. Knew that there was no way Derek Hale of all people could keep himself out of trouble. That part of her was worried.

"I made lunch," Chase announced.

"How'd it go?" Ayla wondered.

"I didn't want to bother you and so I just packed a turkey sandwich, because I didn't know if you had a microwave at school," he explained.

"I do," she informed him.

"Well, then you can also microwave the chicken from last night if you want, because I kind of packed it too. You have options," he told her.

"Perfect," Ayla said, taking her lunch box from him.

She knew he was trying. Her father had never had to deal with making sure she was getting to school or getting her work done. He had only ever had her on summer break.

"And I need to drive you to school?" he asked.

"Allison is picking me up. You're good," she told him.

"Perfect. And I approve of Allison?" he wondered, giving her a teasing look.

Ayla rolled her eyes. "She's probably the friend that you would most approve of, other than the fact that she's a hunter," she told him.

Chase frowned. "Now, I'm not great at understanding all the werewolf stuff, but doesn't that mean she's supposed to kill you?" he asked.

"We have a complicated friendship," Ayla explained.
