A/N- That drawing of Razor with his hair flying behind him.... my boy looks so beautiful!

YOUR EYES OPENED to the sight of a gray haired boy diving down towards you, claymore drawn with electro radiating off of it.

You tried to move away, but your body was tethered to the ground by chains, making it impossible or you to move even an inch. With a sob, you closed your eyes and resigned yourself to your death, waiting for the pain of the claymore blow and then the nothingness that would follow.

But then, to your shock, nothing happened. You felt no pain yourself, but you heard the scream of the people that were around you, the Fatui who had chained you down, crying out in pain, and then the sound of their bodies hitting the floor. From those sounds, you surmised that the boy's intended target had not been you, but your captors. And for that, you were thankful.

You watched as the boy pushed stray parts of his gray hair back behind his face, and then slid a brown hood up, veiling his face in shadow. You saw two red eyes glaring out at you from the shadow, and saw scars running up and down his skinny arms. Whoever this boy was, he had been in many battles, and been injured many times. His clothing was simple, a piece of cloth covering his chest and revealing his scrawny build and stomach, a hooded black cloak, worn green pants with what looked like boar's teeth on display on the waistband, and boots that looked to be normal for these parts. He had long gray hair that went down to his hips, and it looked like it hadn't been brushed well in a long time.

He knelt down by your side and opened the chains with a key that he had taken off one of the Fatui bodies. You noticed him fumbling to unlock the locks, which made you believe that he never really used keys before.

"Put it in the keyhole and twist it to the left," you told him.

He followed your advice, and ended up getting you out. You massaged your arms and legs, which had become numb during your long captivity, kept lying down on your back with your arms and legs unable to move. You couldn't get up onto your feet at first, because your blood wasn't circulating, but then it began to move again, and you jumped up onto your feet.

The boy who had saved you was pulling away towards the entrance of your cell. He seemed uneasy around you, and when you came closer, he huddled down by the cell door in a little ball, trying to hide himself in his cloak, drawing the cloth around him and staying still. You could see distrust in his red eyes, along with fear. Clearly, he rescued you, but he didn't trust you, which was to be expected. I mean, if the Fatui were scared of you enough to tie you up and not even let you move, you were clearly strong, right?

And you were.

You had the power of a double vision, the ability to use both electro and pyro powers. Alone, those powers were a menace to deal with, but they could be controlled. However, together, fire and electricity mixed together created a nearly unstoppable force. The Fatui wished to harness your powers and use them to fight against their enemies, but you had declined helping them multiple times, so they got angry at you and tied you up, saying that they would keep you like that until you chose to help them. You never chose to help, and so you were tied up for a few weeks before this boy came to rescue you. You owed this boy quite a lot, and you couldn't rectify that debt if he was sitting there afraid of you. So you decided to try and talk to him.

"I won't hurt you, boy," you told him, coming closer to him and eventually sitting down next to him. "Just tell me some things about you, alright?"

"Yes, I will," the boy responded. His voice sounded rough, as if he barely used it, and every word sounded like it took him a lot of effort to say. Is this why he seemed so shy around you? Because he couldn't talk that well?

"What's your name?" you asked.

"I am Razor," the boy responded.

"Well, Razor, where in Teyvat do you come from?"

"Forest... many boars... near big wall," he responded, hesitating between each answer as if questioning his word choice.

"You come from a forest near a big wall?" you repeated, confused as to what he meant.

"N-not big wall... has name.... Razor cannot say..."

Razor sounded angry at this, and you felt bad for the poor boy. He clearly was trying hard to communicate, but he was failing. How had he been raised this terribly, that he didn't even know human speech?

"Who raised you, Razor? Why can you not speak well?" you asked, verbalizing your thoughts.

"I am wolf, but not wolf. Boy, but not boy. I am raised by... man from big wall... don't know his name," the boy answered.

"A man raised you? Then why is it so hard for you to speak?"

Razor growled when you asked this question, which made you think he disliked it. Whatever. You would move on then.

"Alright. Can you describe this thing you call 'big wall?' Is it a city? Do a lot of people live there?"

"Big wall... has barrier over water... leads in. Has many people, not like Razor. Has... has..."

He growled again and hit himself in the face.

"Dumb Razor! Think!" he yelled, sounding legitimately angry now.

"Alright, you can't describe it well. Can you guide me to it?" you asked.

The wolf boy nodded, and took your hand in his small one.

"I will take you," he said, and he led you through the halls of the prison to the outside world.

Apparently, you had been imprisoned right above a forest, on a mountain. Razor pointed to the forest and said, "Home."

He pointed down south and said, "There is big wall. See it?"

You followed the direction of his pointed finger and saw a windmill rotating in the distance, and the spires of a church rising into the sky. A wall surrounded the city, which is probably why Razor called it 'big wall.'

"Yes, I see it. How long will it take to get there?" you asked him.

"Very short time," Razor responded. "Run!"

He started to run, and you kept pace with him, never once letting go of his hand, until you reached the end of the forest. Then you followed a trail that had been dug into the ground, until you reached a bridge that led in to the city.

"Razor stop here," he said. "See you... maybe."

With that, he rushed back off into the forest, his hood falling off and revealing his long gray hair that flew behind him.

You took a deep breath and took your first few steps into the city, and towards your new life.

You never saw the boy again. But you always thought of him, whenever you walked the streets of Mondstadt.

Your beautiful little rescuer from the forest...
