Hello everyone! I'm sorry again that it has been so long. It's just getting hard to find inspiration for this story since I'm in between movies. I'll try and work more on it during this school year. I want to thank all of you amazing people who fill the comment sections with such entertaining things! It makes my day to hear from you all! FYI this chapter is another song chapter, but it's apart of the actual storyline. It's "You Say" by Lauren Daigle. "What are you talking about? Of course you belong here," Claudius says encouragingly.
"No.. no Claudius, I really don't.." (Y/N) says softly as she gently pulls away from him.
"I keep fighting voices in my mind that say I'm not enough
Every single lie that tells me I will never measure up"
Claudius reaches out for (Y/N), but she pulls away.
"Am I more than just the sum of every high and every low?"
(Y/N) look at Claudius as more tears slip down her cheeks. She wipes them away with the back of her hand.
"Remind me once again just who I am because I need to know"
Ooh oh
Claudius went to reach out to (Y/N) again, but he pulls his hand back, "(Y/N).."
"You say I am loved when I can't feel a thing..
You say I am strong when I think I am weak..

And when I don't belong..."
(Y/N) goes quiet for a moment.

Claudius finally realizes (Y/N) is talking about Hans, as well as everyone around her. He starts to make the connections. She's a middle class girl who has now been thrown into the crazy world in which she is trying to enter the royal family in a different way then the family wants. She's completely lost and she has no one to express these feelings too. She's a strong woman who has held out for so long, but she just can not do it anymore and she shouldn't have to.
"The only thing that matters now is everything You think of me
In You I find my worth, in You I find my identity"
Ooh oh
"(Y/N) please.. Listen to me.. You are so worthy. Don't listen to what anyone else says. They don't matter," Claudius says, trying to encourage the hurt girl to keep fighting. He believes in her more than anyone else.
At his words, (Y/N) whips around to face him.

(Y/N)'s voice starts to crack.

(Y/N) turns and walks towards the balcony in her room. Claudius follows after her as she continues.
"Taking all I have and now I'm laying it at your feet

(Y/N) places her hands on the edge of the railing as she looks back at Claudius, broken.

(Y/N) falls into Claudius's arms as she cries into his chest. Her fingers grip tightly to the loose fabric at the front of his shirt. Claudius doesn't let go. He holds her close in comfort, like she is the only thing in the world that matters to him.
"Oh I believe, oh
Yes I believe, oh
What You say of me
Oh I believe.."
(Y/N) cries softly into Claudius as he gently rubs her back, "(Y/N)... you are not alone.. I promise.. I'll be by your side.. Always..."
