LOVE LIKE CHERRY BLOSSOM
・゜゜・．
On the day of full bloom,
a petal trembles in anticipation,
carrying emotions
thrived from the cherry blossom tree.
The wind gently coaxes it, saying,
"You've waited for this day so long. Come on!"
And so the petal makes the leap,
flying amongst the others with glee,
and excitedly landing on an open palm,
to be admired by twinkling eyes.
And as the hand envelopes it,
it isn't afraid,
because the hand assists with the rest of it's travel,
to the destination of the heart,
to be held so close,
it's love --- reciprocated.
My love's like that cherry blossom,
the petal an extension of my emotions,
hoping to be accepted as it travels,
TO YOU.
