July 5 Tuesday Year 1
I dreamed of two girls.
They were inseparable and happiest when they were together.
Sometimes they would get in trouble, other times they received praises.
Regardless, it was always together.
One day, one told the other a secret.
It was about a boy.
The other girl was so happy her friend was experiencing love. She shared that one day she would like to experience it, too. She hoped it would be as sweet and romantic as it was in the books she read.
And so, the girl explained all the wonderful things that could happen to her dear friend.
They became the girl in love and the girl yearning for love.
The girl yearning for love always had her head in the clouds, and maybe that's why her pencil had rolled off her desk and tapped against the foot of her classmate.
He reached down and kindly tapped her shoulder to return it. She turned around and thanked them happily, gasping when she realized it was the boy from the secret.
The boy shared a wide smile, pleased with her reaction.
From then on, the girl yearning for love would share every moment and interaction she had with the boy.
The girl in love enjoyed hearing about it until one day... she didn't.
"That's enough."
Confused, she stayed in silence. This may have marked the start of her silence.
Like flames in a dry forest, rumors spread quickly around the school.
Awful rumors.
The girl yearning for love had seduced her friend's crush.
The girl yearning for love was oddly obsessed with the boy.
The girl yearning for love was strange, period.
As soon as she heard them, she rushed to find her friend. She had to tell her the truth.
"Please," She begged. "Please, just listen to me."
"No, this is all your fault!"
"Please, forgive me."
"I'm never going to see you again."
"Why? Please, just listen to me," her voice has never shaken with so much fear.
"I don't owe you anything. Do you hear me?"
With one last look, she spun on her heels and kept the promise of her words.
