Chapter 14: Twins

Lucy's POV

I'm conducting a survey among the students here in Fiorre Academy. What survey? It's about Natsu-senpai. I asked each one of them about everything they know about him. Like he can't handle transportation, he became sick when he rides one. I find it interesting because I know now the reason why he refuses my offer on my car. Hahahaha I can use this information against him next time. He keeps on smashing my head with his fist and I hate it when he does that. He's favorite food is grilled meat and his favorite color is red. He is always alone for the past 2 years in stay here in the academy. He is always at the library according to Lissana. And Natsu senpai is great in doing some speech, when Erza asked him do to one for her because Erza said herself that she don't have time creating speech for the students, so she always ask Natsu-senpai to do it for her. Others said that he's hard to cope with; he never talks to anybody except Gray in class. They also said that he's weirdo, nerd, loner, and the like.

I really don't like the comments they made on Natsu-senpai. They don't know him and I also find him weird because of his split personality but at the same time I find it interesting. After conducting my research, I find an open space here in the academy. I bring out my journal from my small bag that I always carry with me. I write every detail in it. And when I go home later I will continue to write my book. There is just another person I haven't interview yet. I can't find him anywhere. He knows all about Natsu-senpai and Gray is the most important person for me to interview.

"Lucy-san! Lu-chan!" the twins called as they approach me here under the tree I'm sitting at

"Ah, Wendy! Levy-chan! What's up?" I said as I close my journal and put it back on my bag

"Nothing much can we join you?" Levy-chan said

"Sure!" I said and they take a sit beside me

"We heard that you're conducting a research about Natsu?" Levy-chan asked

"Ah hahaha yeah it's for my book."

"Your book?" Wendy said wondering about what I've said

"I'm writing a book for my mother and Natsu-senpai is my main character."

"Natsu? Why him, there are more interesting subject in the world." Levy-chan said

"Well, Natsu-senpai is special and I think I can make a good book out of it."

"Oh, Good luck Lu-chan on writing your book." "Good luck Lucy-san, I'm supporting you." The twins said

"Thank you! Do you want something to eat?" I asked as I stand up

"Yeah, let's grab some ice cream!" Wendy said really excited, looks like she like ice cream that much

"Ice cream again, didn't you just have one?" Levy-chan said concerned about her sister

"Ehehehe but I like ice cream, come on Levy just one."

"Alright but this is the last one okay?"

"Yeah, yay! Thank you Levy!" She said and hugged Levy on her neck

"okay, okay, let's go." Levy said

"hahahaha you two are cute together. Let me guess Levy-chan you are the oldest are you?" I said as we walk towards the cafeteria to get some ice cream for Wendy

"Your right Lu-chan, I'm 5 minutes older than her. Wendy is like a child so I need to keep my eyes on her always, as her elder sister." Levy-chan said

"It's nice thing to have a sister looking after you right Wendy?"

"Yes, and I love my big sister very much." Wendy said and I think they do get along with each other.

"Stop it Wendy you're making me blush." Wendy and I just laugh at her

"Lu-chan do you have any sibling?" Levy-chan asked

"Huh? Me? Yeah." But I don't even know where she is anymore.

"I bet she's a good sibling to you, because you're nice Lu-chan, right Wendy?"

"Yeah!"

After school I stop by the park. Caprico is just waiting for me in the car. I don't want to go home yet. I'm jealous of the twins. I suddenly remember her. I remember that this is the park we always go when things about her and father didn't turn out well, during our stay here in Japan. I sit on one of the swing; this is where she always sits when she's upset.

"Nee-san....where are you?"

"Lucy?" a voice called out my name, I look at that woman in front of me carrying her bag

"Cana. What are you doing here?" I asked

"I should be asking you the same question. I always pass by here, this is my way home, then I saw you here alone and sulking, what happened to you?" she asked and sit down to the other swing

"Ah nothing I just want to be alone for now." I said not looking at her; I just play with the sand with my feet

"You can tell nee-san about your problem, maybe I can help you." Nee-san? I look at her and she just smile at me brightly. I suddenly felt like crying, and after a second I did. I cry on her chest like a kid and she just hold me and brush my hair.

"I'm sorry Cana. I wet your clothes." I said after I stop on crying and wipe off my tears on my face

"hahaha don't worry about it. What's wrong?" She asked

"I...I just missed my nee-san."

"Nee-san?" She has a bit surprised look on her face then she just smiled at me

"She left our house before our mother died because she can't get along with our father. After that we haven't seen her again. Nee-san and I are close to each other, when we are young we can't get separated like Wendy and Levy-chan."

"The world is full of mysteries. There are people that will come to our life and there will also come out. I know that your sister miss you very much. And do you know the thing they called destiny? When you guys are really meant to be together, I know that you will meet her at any cost. So don't cry again okay, as your nee-san is still not here, can I be your nee-san?" She said and smile warmly at me, my tears begun to fall again. I just nod at her.

"I said don't cry again right?" She said and holds me in her arms

"I-I'm sorry nee-san..."

"There, there..."
