Chapter 61: Books

After that day the letters have stop on coming. I'm glad that it did, cause it's driving me crazy.I went to the library and pick a book to read. I just want to keep my mind calm. I can't find Lucy anywhere and the others are busy. Ashley and Loke seems to be in good terms now. I tried to asked Lisanna if she is my secret admirer but she didn't even flinch to say a word. I just return from my seat and read my book again.

I'm getting sleepy. This is the first time I felt like this while reading a book. It's been a long time since I visit the library. I guess I'll just go up to the roof top to sleep maybe. It's our vacant period because the teachers have their annual meeting.

I opened the door and I saw a familiar blonde girl. She seems to be talking to herself.

"Luce!" I called

"Ah Natsu-senpai! What are you doing here?" she asked startled

"Huh? I just came here to take a nap." I said. I walk towards her and she is holding bunch of novel books.

"What are you going to do with that?" I asked

"Ah this. I would like to give it to you." She said and hand me the books

"For me? What for?" I said and take it

"Nothing I just want to give it to you. You like to read right? So I thought that I will give you my favorite novels." She said

"Okay thanks." I said and sit at the floor under the shed

"Are you going to take a nap now?" She asked

"Yeah. Do you want to join me?" I asked

"No! No! I don't want to sleep." She said and sit beside me "But if you want to take a nap you can sleep on my lap." She said and I saw her blushing. I blush also because it's Lucy who is offering her lap to be my pillow.

"S-Sure." I said blushing and lay my head on her lap.

Normal POV

"My head is not heavy isn't?" Natsu asked

"No, No it's fine senpai. Just take you nap." Lucy said

"Thanks Luce!" Natsu said and close his eyes

Lucy's heart is really beating fast. And her face is becoming even more red. She just look at Natsu's sleeping face and she thought that Natsu is really cute when he's sleeping.

"Are you cold senpai? I think this is not a really good idea to sleep in here."

"No I'm fine I'm fine." he said rubbing his arms

"He's cold alright." Lucy thought to herself

She just looks at Natsu and she wonders how does it feel to touch Natsu's pointy hair.

"I want to touch his hair." she thought to herself.

Lucy slowly runs her hand on Natsu's hair. "Wow it's smooth that I expected. I thought it was spiky." she thought

Natsu is not really sleeping but pretending that he is. He feels that Lucy is playing with his hair and he just let her do it because he likes it.

"Natsu-senpai, I know you are sleeping but please read the books okay?" Lucy said still running her hand on Natsu's hair

It's getting colder. Lucy took off her white scarf and put it on Natsu's hands.

Lucy is used to cold weather like this. He is the opposite of Natsu. Lucy likes Winter while Natsu hates it.

"Hehehehe this is a great shot." a blonde said while holding her smart phone and recording on video Natsu and Lucy

"Ashley what are you doing?" another dirty blonde haired guy with blue glasses said

"Shut up Loke. This is good. They became more closer!" It was Ashley again.

They are at the door of the roof top. Ashley plan on staying here but she saw that the place is occupied with her ship. She slide her hand on her pocket and grabs her phone and video the two from the door. Loke is with him because he is always tailing her.

"Alright that would be enough." Ashley said and get down from the stairs and drag Loke with him.

"Ashley I just noticed that your hair is growing long again." Loke said

"Yeah. I know it's been 7 months already since I have my last hair cut." Ashley said and touch her hair

"Lucy-san have the same hair length right?" he said

"Yeah. She cut her hair as long as mine. She said she wants to have the same hair as I am." Ashley said

"Oh~! By the way Ashley when are you going to answer me~?" Loke asked all dreamy

"I still didn't approve you to court me!" Ashley said and kick his leg

"Ow! Ow! Wait Ashley!" Loke said and tries to catch up with Ashley

"My legs are getting numb." Lucy thought to herself but she just endures it. Natsu is really sleeping now, heavenly that is.

"I wish Natsu will read the books I've gave him. I'll wait for you." she said to herself again.

The school bell rings and Natsu was awaken by it. He get up from Lucy's lap and stretch. Lucy returned her scarf on her neck.

"That was a great nap. Thank you Lucy? Are you alright?" He asked as he help Lucy to stand up

"Yeah. I'm fine. But in return you will treat me hot cocoa." Lucy said

"Sure let's go!" Natsu said and they both went to their respective classrooms.

6 pm~park

Lucy is sitting at the bench below the lamp post beside her car. She seems to be waiting for someone. It's freezing cold and still she waits there for an hour. After that she went inside her car and drive herself home.

Lucy seems to be doing this every night at the same time.

"Brrrr... It's so cold...Didn't he saw it yet?" Lucy said trying to warm up her hands with her breath

"6:30. I guess I'll wait inside the car." she said and went inside her car and turn on the heater.
