Chapter 70: Her Answer

Lucy's POV

Natsu-senpai and I went to the bridge. The lake is reflecting the moon from above. It's really beautiful and it's calming my mind. Natsu-senpai stops on walking and we just stare at the lake.

"Lucy." He called

"What is it?" I look at him

"I just want to tell you something really important. Will you hear me until the end?" he said looking seriously in my eyes

"Sure. What is it?" I asked

Then he started to tell me something about him living in a boring world. Then I am the one that give life to it. He even called me lunatic. I want to react but I think he will be angry. I'll just save it for later.

Until to the point that he tell me how he really feels about me. He confess that he love me.

I know that. I know that he also likes me, but it's different than I expected.

I just stare straight into his onyx eyes. I can't believe Natsu felt that way towards me.

Coming those words directly from him makes my heart race.

"Lucy, can you say something, please." He said and holds both of my hands

"Natsu, I...waited for you right? At the park. I came there every night, freezing cold, waiting for you for an hour even though I know that you are not coming. I still went there having hope that you will come. I want to tell you how I really feel about you that's why I asked you to come. But you didn't. Until I misunderstand your confession towards Ashley. So that was really for me. Thank you.

Natsu, thank you for helping me write my book. You know I'm really glad that I met you. I've learn how to love. Thank you for loving me. You know you are pretty dense. I keep on sending you letters but you are just ignoring it. I keep giving clues in every letter to which it's from. I thought you are genius but not in love huh? Hahahaha.

Do you remember our song?" I said all that from the bottom of my heart.

"Our song? You mean Forevermore?" he said

"Yeah." I said and clear my throat

You're all I need to be here with forevermore ♪" I sing in a melodic and calming tone unlike when we sing it together

"Was that a Yes?" he asked

"What do you think?! Of course! Yes!" I yelled

"Yes? Yes! Hahahahha! You said yes! Yes! Finally!" he yelled and carries me on my waist and spins me around.

"Hahahaha put me down." I said and he hugged me after that

"Thank you Lucy. You don't know how happy I am right now and how long I've waited for this day to happen. Thank you. I love you!" he said and holds me in my face

"I feel the same Natsu. I love you too! It's almost New Year. Do you want to count down together?" I said as I look at my watch

"Okay. Lucy this is the best year I've ever had."
