Prologue: Meet the Nerd Guy

I've always been called "Mr. Nerdy", but I don't give a damn about those stupid people. All they do is have some fun, play around and don't even bother to study. I love studying very much. My mother said before she died, studying will help me to achieve a great future. I love reading books even at night before I go to sleep. That is why I have a poor eyesight. But only when reading. I still can see people even without glasses. My father is an archaeologist professor at a University here in Fiore. My father loves his job very much and I also love watching him doing his job. I also have two younger brothers.

I'm a third year high school now here at Fiore Academy. I have many achievements here since first year. I always join contest outside and inside the campus, and I've always won. I am happy for who I am now. I don't care with everybody hating me for who I am. I don't have friends, just a friend. I don't need lots of friends to be happy. I have one friend his name is Gray. His a stupid guy who only thinks of his 'beloved Juvia-chan'. I don't hangout much with him because he is always with Juvia. And whenever I am with him, it's often for us to get along, but he is my best friend. I don't usually talk to others. I am always alone but never lonely. As long as I have books by my side.

I spend most of my time at the library during breaks, to read books or at the roof top because no one came up there anymore. We have a huge library at Fiore Academy. And I've read almost half of the books inside the library. Everyday I came here to read a new book. The usual person I always talk to is the student assistant at the library Lisanna. She likes to read books as I do but not that much. Sometimes she can't finish a book in a day because she is too bored to read she said to me once. She is a bit lazy thou.

My name is Natsu Dragneel. 18 years old and a top student at Fiore Academy. Yes, I'm the one who they called Mr. Nerdy. I'm intelligent like my Mom and Dad. If there is something that I can be proud about me, it's my achievements in school. And if there is positive, negative is always on the other side. I hate my personality. Being a nerd is not fun at all, even though I enjoy studying. No one bully me in school because I'm a Student Council Vice President. I'm a shy type of person at school; I don't interact with people normally, I always shutter when I'm talking to them. But when it comes to reciting and speeches I speak like a normal student and I don't shutter. Speaking individually and speaking at everybody if its school related are two different things for me.

I also have this secret that my dad, Gray and my first brother only knows. I don't intentionally keep it a secret but it's just naturally happening to me. I don't know why this thing is happening to me but I just let it happen because I feel comfortable at it.

Love? I never experience to fall in love. But all that changes when I met her.

Another NaLu fanfic here! This is the third time I'm making a NaLu fanfiction. Hope you like it guys. Natsu is a nerd. Gray is as clingy as Juvia. Lisanna is lazy, and Lucy is a weird foreigner that find a Nerd guy interesting

In this fanfic almost all the main characters will be OOC or Out of Character. So please don't kill me okay. I just want to try to write an OOC fanfic.
