Chapter 38: Her Twin

Natsu's POV

"So what happened to you? That's not like you to sit here and sulk."

"Wow, are we really that close for you to know what I am like. -_-" I said and she pick me up by my collar and shake me again

"What the heck are you saying?! Huh?! I'm being a good student here trying to help a hopeless person like you!"

"Wow I appreciate it...ha..ha...ha..." I sarcastically laugh and she let go of me

"Are you going to tell me or not?!"

"No." I said with a poker face and she looks pissed

"Okay, suit yourself. Bye bye buddy." She said and walks away she even waved her hand

"Huh what a weird thug." I said and lay my head down to the grass ground. I just look up the sky. I just suddenly remember what I did earlier, that made me blush a bit. I close my eyes for a minute and feel the breeze running through my face.

I want to tell her. I want to tell her how I really feel.

I open my eyes and-"Natsu-senpai!"

"Ahh! Lucy!" she was above my face and I was surprised and I suddenly sit up and get away from her

"Ah, sorry did I surprise you?" She said with a really sweet voice. Lucy never talks to me this way and the way she smile, it's different and I can see that her cheeks are trembling.

I stare at her for a minute, she looks like nervous and she's sweating. (-_-;) Yeah, you know who she is.

"What are you doing? Stop it! It doesn't suit you Ashley!" I said crossing my arms

"Tch. Yeah it's not really me. Okay I'm going to be straight to you." She walks closer to me and glares at me with her shinigami eyes

"Tell me what's going on because it's killing me with curiosity, or I'm going to kill you. I've seen you come out from my classroom. What are you doing there huh? And you acted like that since you went out to the field." She's really scaring me now. She's like Erza and Mira, and the worst part is she saw me went out from her classroom.

"Okay, okay I will tell you, so please stop glaring at me will you." She back off and cross her arms with cross eyebrows

"Good. Don't leave any detail."

"I'm looking for Lucy earlier and Wendy said that she is in your classroom that's why I went to see her. The thing is she is sleeping when I came in."

"Yeah she does. Didn't Wendy tell you?"

"No, she didn't tell me. I sit in front of her and just look at her when she's sleeping."

"You what? Wait wait wait I think I know where this is going! Do you.....somewhat like....Lucy?"

I was surprised when she said that and just turn my head down, I don't want to look at her with the face of Lucy. They are so look alike.

"So you 'did' like her! Ahhhhhh! What did you do to her huh?!"

"Stop glaring at me please. I-I-I-I k-k-k-iss her-"

"WHAT DID YOU DO?! HOW DARE YOU! HOW DARE YOU! HOW DARE YOU DO THAT TO MY CUTE LITTLE SISTER HUH? DO YOU WANT TO DIE EARLY?! YOU STOLE MY LUCY'S FIRST KISS WITHOUT HER KNOWING? HOW DARE YOU?!"

"S-s-s-sorry I-I-I didn't mean to, I just caught up with the situation.." I said blocking her with my arms while she's yelling at me

She grins at me then sighs and put my collar down. "eh?"

"If you like her, well...she doesn't. Yesterday at our archery room-"

"You have an archery room?" I said butting in and I think she just popped a vein

"Just LISTEN TO ME DORK!" d-dork?

"Sorry okay continue."

"She put a picture of you on the target and hit it with arrows continuously bull's-eye with your forehead. She keeps on saying she hates you. " she said and I think my soul just comes out on my body. But then Ashley pulls it back.

"W-what? S-she h-h-h-hates me?!" I yelled and she just nodded in cross arms

"Eh??? T^T Why? Why?"

"Who knows???" she said looking from right to left slowly

"Ashley, come on tell me." I said as I shake her head holding both of her shoulders

""Wow, are we really that close, for you to shake me like this."

"Gah!" it's like a boomerang that I throw those words to her now it returned back to me.

"Come on. I'm sorry okay, just tell me please I'll..I'll do anything for you." Crap! She looks evil with those sparkling eyes. I think she's up to something. I shouldn't have said that.

"Anything????" No choice but to agree with her.

"Anything but I have additional favor in exchange of that "anything" you want" she puts under her chin her hand like she's thinking of "anything" she will make me do

"Okay deal. What's your favor first?"

"help me with Lucy."

"Well that's an easy task. Okay mine is do all my school works until summer break."

"What are you kidding me? I have a lot to do too you know."

"Then it's fine with me if you don't want to."

"Ahhh... Fine you win this time. Now tell me the reason that she hates me."

"Well you are making her jealous, that's all."

Eh? Her jealousy can lead for her to hate me. Okay I will stop that. I won't make her jealous anymore. And I am only doing that for her. I don't really feel comfortable with all those girls surrounding me.

"Since its weekend tomorrow, let's start on making plans for you to get Lucy."

"Eh? Tomorrow?"

"Why don't you want to start tomorrow?"

"Ah I'm not ready yet to confess to her."

"Okay, next week. Better prepare yourself because I'm going to give you opportunities to be alone with Lucy and confess to her okay."

"S-sure."

"Natsu, I'm not doing this for you alright, this is just for the bet. My decision isn't mine to make but on Lucy's. I don't know how she feels about you and it's not my concern if she rejected you. But in case she did accept your feelings for her, remember this...." She takes my collar and leans on my forehead and glare at me with his shinigami eyes that will take my soul

"Make her cry and I will kill you. I still don't accept you for her or any other man because she's my precious twin and I can't just sit back and do nothing for her." She push me back and turn back and walk away

"I will....I will..."
