Chapter 39: Ashley's Strategies

Natsu's POV

Morning~

"Natsu, just leave everything to me." She said with confidence

"What happened to your hair?" I asked because she cut her hair short

"Ah this. It's so hot and I like it this way. Never mind my hair, after school I'm in charge for the cleaning."

"So?" I said and I throw my and into my pocket

"Shut up and listen!" She said as she put her arm on my shoulder and punches me in the stomach

" Ow! Is that really necessary?!"

" I will make an excuse to go home early and I will ask Lucy to exchange duties. Then you will see her alone cleaning in the classroom then you are going to help her. Then find out your way to confess to her. Got it."

"Yeah but that's too mainstream. I mean most people always do that kind of thing and that's not really working."

"Just try it. I'll find another way just in case you fail."

"I guess I don't have a choice do I?"

"Nope." She said and gives me a big irritating smile and I just sigh and face palm

Lunch~

"YOU DID WHAT!!!!????"

"Shhhh....Shut up Gray!!!"

I cover Gray's mouth and head when he yelled. This guy is really loud. Can't he react without yelling? We are at the back of the cafeteria beside the flower bed. I told Gray that I kissed Lucy, and that became his reaction.

"Seriously?!" He whispered yelled

"Yeah and I'm going to confess to her today. Ashley is going to help me." I said letting his head go and I cross my arms and look inside the cafeteria, where Lucy is at.

"Wow, it's almost like I didn't know you anymore. You actually did that... hahahahahh" Gray laughs as he holds his stomach

"What are you laughing at? And yes, you don't know me because this is a new Dragneel. People change you know." I said and look at him pissed because he keeps on laughing

"hahahahaha....New Dragneel? Hahahaha you're leveling up dude. Loke is no match on you now. I heard that Loke is head over heels now for Ashley." He said as he walks towards the bench and I followed him. We take a sit after that.

"I don't really care about Loke you know."

"Just ask her properly, if she said yes, then is great right? But if she didn't you're doom." He said making a sound of a bomb

"Like you are the one to talk. I clearly remember when Juvia rejected you and how you beg for her to be your girlfriend. You look pathetic."

"Don't remind me of that!"

Ashley's' POV

"Lucy." I called as she fix her things. This is the time I'm doing the plan.

"What is it?" she said

"Can we exchange schedule for cleaning today? Mira-san asked  me for dinner tonight and I just can't reject them..." I said humbly

"Sure, no problem. Go now I can handle this." She said and takes the broom from my hand. I lighten up my face and grab my bag and rush out the room. "Thanks Sis."
