67. The Picnic (part 1)

The fact that it's been about 6-7 months and that the story is close to 800k views is insane. In a blink of an eye it'll reach 1 million and that would honestly be a dream.

The past few months of being gone and having a hiatus from writing had been a series of up and downs. I'm currently in a process in life right now where I'm struggling, but I'm doing my best to be happy. I'm somewhat happy, not fully there as I was a few days ago, but everything takes time, whether it'll be weeks or months or years.

I've been feeling depressed the past few days and it's been hard because crying no longer is enough. I haven't broken down for a while, and I feel as if it's because I've cried so much before that I no longer have tears to weep. Either way, the show must go on, huh?

Y/N grabs her phone from her pocket after feeling it buzz against her thigh.

The thought of a simple picnic date made Y/N immediately smile and reply back to the girl. She found the type of vibe to be adorable.

Jihyo had replied shortly after, as if she was waiting for Y/N to reply.

Y/N liked her message before putting her phone away back in her pocket. "There is still about two months until your comeback comes, we have a lot of time to work on your first full album, so I want us to put a lot of work into the music, okay?" Moonbyul says after getting Y/N's full attention. With a nod, the two go over and listen to the song that they both produced on the computer.

As Y/N continued to go on dates with the members of Twice, she had been slowly preparing for her new album. It was her second comeback and she was already deciding with the company to release a full album. After her first album became such a big hit, Y/N had gained a lot of popularity and fans. She wanted to put out something that not only pleased them, but wanted to produce songs that meant a lot to her.

That told a lot of her feelings.

"How much songs have we made?" Y/N asked.

"Seven. We're making ten for this album." Moonbyul answered. Slowly nodding, Y/N was in deep thought as she looked at the songs that were already created and listed on her album arrangement.

Despite all the fun and good songs that were on the album that she knew the fans would love, she felt like something was still missing, Y/N just couldn't put a finger on it.

"Am I recording anything today?" Moonbyul shook her head as a response to Y/N's answer.

"You're free to go if you have somewhere to be." Nodding her head, Y/N said goodbye to her producer before heading to her manager who sat at the couch on the other side of the room, on her phone as she watched YouTube videos.

"Solar unnie, we're done for the day." Y/N said. Immediately hearing her voice, Solar's head lifts up to look at the younger woman.

"Already? That was fast." Was what she said before getting up and slightly stretching. "You got everything? Ready to go?" With a nod of her head, the two were off and heading out of the company to the cars.
