- Chapter Twenty Seven -

(Y/n) was able to go home the next day. Erasure had brought her clothes from home that she requested. A long sleeve jacket and gloves were very important to her. He didn't question why she wanted them considering how warm it was outside. He just assumed it was to cover her Auto Mail.

The girl got dressed in the bathroom in her hospital room. Black jeans and black tank top and then a jacket. Before she pulled her left arm through the sleeve, she couldn't help but stare and examine the arm.

The metal was smooth and shiny. Very well kept. But she knew what kind of stares she'd get if she just suddenly went to school with a metal arm. So she wanted to hide it as best as she could for the time being.

Erasure waited for her in the hall until she was done. "You ready?" He asked as he patted her head softly.

"Yes please. Can we please get fast food. I'm starving."

This made Erasure chuckle as he led the way to the exit. "Sure kid."

During the drive, (Y/n) was finally able to check her phone. She still couldn't believe it had been two weeks since the incident.

Good grief...

The majority of the calls were from Mina which wasn't totally surprising. But there was one set of messages she wanted to look at the most.

Are you awake yet?

Hey Tiny

I miss you

I know you'll be scared when you wake up.  But I'll be there no matter what. You got that?

Hey. Wake up. 

As she read more of his messages, she couldn't help but giggle. As she got to the bottom she began to type out her own message. But before she could hit send, a new message from him arrived.

Hey. Tiny. I don't know when you'll get your phone back or if it was even found after the attack. But in any case I just have to get this off my chest. I..

She read those last three words on repeat in her head. Her heart began to flutter and her cheeks were flushed.

I love you.

"We're here." Erasure's voice interrupted her thoughts as he put the car in park.

"H-Huh? Where are we?" Her mind was flustered as she quickly clicked off her phone and looked around.

"Didn't you say you were hungry?"

"Oh! Yes. Starving." She quickly got out of the car and ran inside, leaving Erasure in the car with a confused look on his face.

"O..kay?"

The girl's heart was beating fast. She clutched her chest while holding her phone tightly in her opposite hand.

Katsuki.. Loves me?

"Ma'am? Can I take your order?"

"Huh? Oh yes. Sorry.."

After she ordered, she stood to the side and waited for Erasure who did the same.

Once they got their food, the two sat down at a booth and began to eat. (Y/n) shoveled her food down quickly. Erasure watched her with amusement.
