When Anya stirs awake, she is greeted by the light around her before she jolts awake and into action. However, she notices that her wrists are tied to the sides of the bed.

She pants in anxiety, and this exact situation reminds her of her time with HYDRA. She shut all the memories out and struggles with her bounds. It seems that they're a special type of metal that cannot be melted by fire.

Still, Anya knows that they had no idea her powers... slightly improved. She twists her hand a bit and releases fire into her bounds before they melt easily. She does the same with her other wrist and breaks free. Anya notices that her clothes are different. They were dry and comfortable, compared to the damp and tight green dress she wore earlier.

When she hears heavy footsteps, Anya goes to the door and hides herself, preparing to attack whoever walks through the door. Going by the footsteps, it wasn't Natasha. Without even thinking, Anya grabs them by the neck and slams them against the wall.

Steve lets out a groan, but he doesn't seem to be fighting back. Instead, he just grabs her arm and stays in that position.

Anya releases him with a glare. "Jesus, Steve."

He catches his breath and gives her an odd look. "You know me?"

She raises her brows at the silly outfit he was wearing. "I know the cooler version of you. That bright outfit isn't doing you any favors at all."

He stares at her for a moment. "Natasha said you're her sister."

"I am. Anastasia Romanoff, nice to meet you." She stretches her hand for a shake, which Steve just looks at. Anya lowers her hand with an amused raised brow. Wanda would be laughing if she was right here, and that reminds Anya how much she misses Wanda.

"She also said that you've been dead for ten years."

"Actually, I was sold to HYDRA and been trained there since I was eleven." Anya mutters. "You two aren't supposed to find me until a few years later when you go looking for your best friend. Bucky, remember him?"

Steve frowns, staring at her as if she was insane. "How did you know that name?"

Anya sighs, feeling as though she had said too much. "All I'm saying is that you and I are both from different times." She leans over. "And here, we both have something from our past."

Steve furrows his brows at her. Before he could get another word in, someone else arrives. Natasha, with her short red hair and black catsuit, greets Anya with a nervous smile.

"Hello. Anya."

She smiles gently. "Hey, Nat."

Natasha looks at Steve, who is still staring at Anya with a suspicious frown. The redhead only looks at her sister. "Let's take a walk, shall we?"
