Before you begin to read, I just wanted to quickly clarify some things.
Some specific tropes in this story include -
- enemies to friends to lovers
- slow burn romance
- mutual pining
- nightmare trope
- he fell first and harder
- MC and her Dad occasionally speak German but translations will be left in the comments
I'd like to say that I didn't go in to this book with much of a plot or overall arc in mind (mainly just the romance aspect.) And because I hadn't seen the movies or read the books in a while this story is a sort of blend of the first and second ones.
I started this book a few years ago now and it was a sort of trial run for my story telling. Not to mention, I was also relatively young when I began. This was created over the course of about a year where I actually began improving not only myself, but also my work so the chapters kind of just improve over time.
So if you're still willing to stick the first few out, it'll hopefully be worth it.
Though I would like to quickly add that I wrote this book mostly mostly just for fun, and also because I personally believe that Percy deserves a lot more appreciation that he gets. Because even though I know some of it is not my best work, I am genuinely very proud of my story as a whole. I am a generally a pretty sensitive person, so I do take all your comments to heart. So please just be mindful of what you're saying not only to me, but to others in the comments as well.
The only characters I own are the ones not included in the original series. The rest of the rights do go to J.K Rowling. Who, by the way, I do not support in any means necessary. For all I care, Hagrid wrote the books.
One last note, my work will also contain LGBTQ+ and POC representation. I wanted to include these inorder to truthfully show the uniqueness and individuality of the world we live in.
But seeing as I am in neither of these communities, if at any point any of you think while reading that I have disrespected or wrongly represented anyone in either of these communities - please let me know! I have zero intentions to be harmful and have only wanted everyone to feel safe and accepted <33
