Y/n's POV:

The next day was spent indoors. Another rainy day, I sighed. I didn't mind the rain, not one bit, it was actually the perfect weather to read through, but seeing as I had ran out of books to read pretty quickly - I was itching to do something.

Heavy buckets of rain pounded against the glass of the windows throughout the house, the usual tip-tap sound. And soon after the storm had begun, thunder had followed, the sound of it striking somewhere outside ricocheting of the walls. The lightning had cast itself through the glass of the windows and back doors, streaking the Burrow with its blue and purples hues.

Unusual tapping noises - that where definitely not coming from the rain - where soon heard from the small window in the Kitchen, Bill going to check what it was. And the second he swept open the window, Errol flew in. He'd somehow made it to the lounge where everyone sat huddled up watching 'Tangled' without bumping into anything, the small box previously attached to his ankle been gently taken off by Charlie.

Errol instinctively flew to my side as soon as he was let free, settling beside me on the couch. He eagerly flapped his winds, a sign of him wanting some seeds he knew I always kept on me for Y/o/n. I found a small blanket to wrap the poor, wet creature in, rubbing him feathers with it a bit as I fed him a few things.

In response, Errol nuzzled his way into my neck, which made Y/o/n hoot with jealousy.

Soon after Charlie had somewhat deciphered what was written on the package, he'd held it up into the air, asking, "Hey guys, does anyone know who's-"

I jumped up as I'd managed to recognise who's hand writing was scrawled on the brown wrapping paper, quickly taking it from Charlie's grasp. "Yup, that's mine! Thank you." I yelled excitedly as I snatched the box. And seeing as my name was also addressed, you it was pretty clear who it belonged to.

"Did you order us some early birthday presents?" The twins asked with hopeful looks in their eyes, already eyeing the brown package in my hands. Greedy pricks.

I laughed. "No way, your birthday's aren't for another four months." I held up the box as I explained to them that that- "This is my dress for the party." I said, ripping off the matching brown string that had sealed the package together.

"Can we see it?" George asked, drawing his arms out to take the box away from me in the hopes of getting a peek, but I'd already pulled it away from him just in time.

"Absolutely not." I said, pulling the box behind me. "You'll see me in it on the day. Besides, isn't there a rule against people seeing it before a party?"

"That's a wedding." Callum chuckled.

"Nevertheless, you won't see it." I grinned.

"What? Why not?" Fred whined. "I'm so curious now."

"Because."

"Because what?"

"I'm not telling you." I exclaimed. George had always been very nosey, but most especially Fred. Why didn't they put their noses where they belonged? Like in books. Maybe then they'll be able to find out what it was without having to ask me if they where so desperate.

George groaned at my reluctance to show them my package. "Merlin, you're so mean."

"I know." I smiled at him again, dashing up the stairs with box in hand, shoving it nice and safely under my bed. I had hoped no-one would search for it there, and then they'd all be none the wiser. There was no way they where seeing this dress until I'd at least figured out which shoes I was going to wear with them.
