As the next few days went by I got wrapped up with mommy duties. Today was Wednesday and it was the day of Khari's birthday shoot since her birthday was next Thursday. It was currently 9:43am and I was on a time crunch since Kai got out of school at almost 4. Breezy was working with promotions and some features he had with some artists down here. Dave was in the office per usual and I was excited for this shoot. And currently Khari and I were on our way to the location of the shoot, I had to go pick up her dress and make sure I had everything that would be needed. I was barely running on any sleep and I knew that I wouldn't get much rest during the weekend cause my baby's event was Saturday. Once I parked and got everything out including Khari's sleepy behind, I struggled walking inside. Once I  met up with the photographer and got everything set up, Khari woke up. I changed her diaper and got her changed into the dress. I teared up cause my baby was so pretty, I FaceTimed her dad and whenever the phone connected I heard him gasp. "Hey daddy baby, you look so pretty." he grinned looking at her. Once she heard his voice she flashed a smile showing her 2 little teeth followed by her saying dada. I propped the phone up and helped assist with the shoot, Khari stood up on her own for a few seconds so we were able to get a shot of that then I picked her up and placed her in this golden chair they had as a prop. The whole shoot lasted about 3 hours, so by the time we finished me and Khari were both hungry and tired. The lady who took the pictures sent me some of them and she did an amazing job so of course I tipped her for her work.
"Thank you so much." I said picking up Khari and her diaper bag. We made our way out of the building and it was almost 1pm, I decided to stop and get something to eat and due to the fact that I was on a time crunch still I settled on McDonald's.
Once I got our food, I parked and made sure I had everything, Khari was back there watching my every move. I handed her some fries and a few nuggets just to see if she would attempt to eat them. And let me just say she finished damn near all of it, so I got out the car and went to the back seat where she was to clean up the mess she made. It took a few minutes and when I finished I strapped her back in her seat and got back in the drivers seat. I made my way back to my parents house, I told them that me and the girls would spend the night with them. And I was actually excited cause it had been so long since I've stayed over at their house, it almost made me feel like a kid again. Once I made it there I got Khari situated for her last nap of the day, and when she was asleep I told my mom I would be going to pack our overnight bags and picking up Kai. "Okay Ry, just be back by the time dinners ready." I laughed cause I hadn't heard that in so long. "Yes ma'am." I said on my way out the door. It was going on 2 so I met babe back at my place. I got out and met him at the front door, he wrapped his arms around me and placed a kiss on my lips. "I missed you." I said with a pout. "I missed you too, how was the shoot?" he asked as I unlocked the door and we both headed inside. "It went good surprisingly, you wanna see some of the pictures?" I asked pulling my phone out and showing him. "She looks just like you in these." he said with a smile. "You think so?" I said happy as I packed Kai's bag first. "Yes baby, you excited for this weekend?" he asked gathering a few of his things since at this point he had half of my closet for when he was in town. "I should be asking you that." I said with a slight chuckle. "I am. It's gonna be one of the best days of my life.." he said. My eyebrow raised in confusion, "Big day huh?"
"Yes love." he kissed the side of my face. Once I had both of the girls' bags packed I was working on mine. It didn't take long to have all of our things together and when I finished I looked up and saw Antonio sitting on the bed with his phone in his hand. His eyes met mine and he told me to come here, I walked over to him and stood between his legs. "Let's get one in before we leave." he suggested, smiled and sat my phone and keys down.

Once we finished our business and took a quick shower we were on our way. It was now time to go pickup Kai, I made my way to her school and parked the car. I got out and headed inside, I saw the receptionist. "Kairi Brewster." I said and she nodded with a smile. She got up and headed to the back and shortly after she was returning with my baby. Kai quickly ran up to me and I scooped her up into my arms, "hey pretty girl." I said kissing her all over her face. "Maaaaaa.." she dragged out. I laughed and sat her on her feet. "You hungry?" I asked as we headed to the car. "Kind of.. can we have ice cream?" she asked. "I don't see why not." I said. I was actually a little hungry plus I wanted to spend some time with her..

While we sat outside eating our ice cream, we talked and I asked her how did she feel about Breezo. "I like him. Is he gonna be like my other daddy?" she curiously. "The only way he'll become your other daddy is if me and him get married. But right now no he's not like another dad." I explained and she nodded understanding. We continued our little girl talk and it felt so weird that I actually have kids, and to see how big she's gotten. I remembered when she was a baby and sighed. "You okay?" she asked finishing her ice cream. "Yes I'm okay I just miss when you were a baby." I said with a fake pout. She smiled and got up coming over to hug me, I embraced her and smiled. "No matter how big you get you'll always be my baby and I love you so much." I said kissing her forehead. "I love you too." she said. We got up and headed towards the car, once I made sure she was properly strapped in we made our way to my parents house..
