Dave

After spending most of the night playing games with Kai and CJ, I woke up sleepy as hell. I made sure Kam was situated before I did anything else. I made me and the kids breakfast so when they got up I wouldn't have to do much of anything, once I had ate and wrapped their plates up, I started cleaning up the mess that was made. Usually Ryan would have Kairi clean up her own mess but I didn't feel like dealing with her attitude cause I woke her up to pick up behind herself. I tried to quietly move around the house as I picked up all kinds of shit, candy, chips, paper, toys and shoes. I definitely talked my shit while I was doing it cause you would've thought I had at least 25 kids in my crib last night. Kids were bad as hell, and now that I think about it could I see myself with Alexis? I mean I only have 2 kids and she has 5, could I see myself cleaning up after 8 kids? Help taking care of my 2, CJ and her 5? The thought of that instantly made me have a headache, and I didn't want her to feel like I was judging her but that is a lot to deal with not only that I'm still gonna be dealing with Ryan as well as Brooke and if they found any issue with her they wouldn't hesitate to let me know. Something I was grateful for but sometimes Brooke was too opinionated, but overall I was grateful for them. It was different though even years later cause I was so use to having a bunch of niggas who tried to kiss ass to get in my space, so when I met Aug, Chris, Brooke and Ryan it was different they always kept it real with me. Once I finished cleaning up the mess, I sat down with Kam in my arms. He was just looking around at nothing in particular, I then heard some tiny footsteps coming down the stairs. I looked up and there stood Kairi with a stuffed unicorn in her arms, she climbed on the couch and laid next to me. I knew she would eventually doze back off so I didn't say anything, I watched some tv until CJ woke up calling my name. I slowly eased Kam off of me and laid him next to Kairi, once I made sure they were fine I headed up the stairs to see what my nephew wanted. "What's wrong?" I asked him. "I had an accident, I was having a bad dream." he said shyly. It wasn't something I wasn't accustomed to cause Kai had a few accidents along her potty training days. CJ was a year younger than Kairi was they were just now starting the process with him. "It's fine, let me help you." I said helping him to the bathroom. He took a quick bath and I got him dressed in some clean clothes while I washed his along with the sheets and covers.

Ryan

I was woken up by my phone ringing, I leaned over and picked it up. "Hello?" I greeted trying to sound as awake as possible. "Hey is the Ryan?" the person asked. "Uh yes, may I ask who's calling?" I asked with a frown. "Hey, this is Queen. We met around 2 years ago, your man was in my music video." I instantly sat up. "Hey girl, how have you been?" I asked. I was curious as to why she was calling cause after we left Atlanta we didn't keep in touch with her much. "I've been good, but the reason I was calling is cause I was a having a listening party in New York and I wanted to personally invite you and Dave." I appreciated the invite but there was no way that me and Dave would show up together to an event, that would not only cause issues with our personal life but as well as business. "I appreciate the offer but I don't think Dave would be able to make it." I simply said. "Oh, well I'll email you the location and details if you guys decide to change your mind."
"Okay thank you boo." I said as we ended our call. I sighed cause now this put me in a tight spot, I wanted to support Queen but I also didnt wanna fake the funk as if me and David were still together. There was a knock on the door, "come in." I called out. I already knew it was Antonio and my suspicions were right when he walked in shirtless with a tray in his hands. "Goodmorning love." he said with a smile as he brought the tray over and sat it in my lap. It was full of breakfast foods, "thank you, I would kiss you but morning breath." I said with a smile. He laughed and kissed me on the cheek, "I have a surprise for you, so when you finish eating and get ready call me." he said as he walked out the room. There was a little card in the corner and I picked it up and saw it was a hand written note.

Ryan,

These last few months with you have been nothing short of amazing. You're such a strong woman despite everything you've been through. Your smile brightens my day and I wanna continue to put that smile on your face. Enjoy breakfast, and be prepared for the adventure that awaits you.

I smiled at the nice gesture cause this hasn't been done for me before so it was new. Don't get me wrong Dave was romantic but he would rather take me out for breakfast instead of making it. Let's just say he wasn't the greatest cook, but he knew how to make some things. I took a bite of the french toast that was in front of me and closed my eyes, this man definitely knew his way around the kitchen. I finished the food in no time and now I was in the shower brushing my teeth. I washed up and once I got out, I decided that I would leave my hair in its natural state. Once I was dressed and ready I met Antonio downstairs with the tray in my hands. I sat it on the island and he came up behind me. His arms snaked around my waist and his head rested on my shoulder, "You enjoy breakfast?" I nodded turning my head to plant a kiss on his lips. "Thank you." I said turning to face him. "That's nothing compared to what I have in store for you today." he said. "Well the day waits us." I said with a smile.
