First Day.

Ari rode in the back of  Paul's car, it's been a few days but she finally got accepted into UA. Her heart beat vigorously against her rib cage, her hands were sweaty and she couldn't help but feel a little afraid. What would they think of her? Would they all like her? What if they thought she was ugly and didn't want to be friends with her. Curse her strange eyes, what a tragic birth defect. No one she saw out in the world had the same eyes, was she the only one? What if she couldn't access her quirk at the right time? What then? What about the boys? Her stomach churned, she didn't want to think about them. They were too horrid to think of at a time like this. She would have to face them at some point, how would she even do it?

Maybe there was no danger in that, maybe her eyes would scare all the boys off...but then again, that red headed boy spoke to her and didn't mention them. What a conundrum. So many possibilities of how her first day would go swam around in her head until Paul put on the breaks for the traffic light. She snapped out of it and searched for his blue eyes in the rear view mirror.

Instead of his oceanic blue orbs shining back at her, she felt his hand gently reach back and hold hers, "You're okay." He told her soothingly before he let go and continued to drive. The car ride was a little longer than she expected, did she really live that far away? Her heart seemed to leap out of her chest when she spotted it come into view.

"Oh my God." She said under her breath.

Paul pulled into the drive way, he opened the door to let her out and the bright sun stung her eyes. All Might approached them, his excited smile plastered upon his face. She let out a sigh of relief, a familiar face thank God. He hugged her happily, picking her up for a minute, "Welcome to UA, Ari."

"Thank you." She said hugging him back. He set her down and led her straight to the dormitories. A couple of them looked at her with smiles or questioning brows. Who was she? What was she doing here all of the sudden?

"This way, Arinna." All Might snapped her out of yet another trance and she followed him down the hallway to her new dorm room. He opened the door and revealed the empty room. The walls were a blank white and it shined blindingly in the sunlight.

There was a bathroom, a balcony and a desk for her studies. Paul came in and set her bags down, standing with All Might as they observed her slowly adjusting to her surroundings. This was all so overwhelming, she was excited and terrified at the same time. The possibilities of what she would experience first in her school life left her ready to dash around to meet everyone. Her fear of encountering the boys in her class left her shaking a little.

"Miss Arinna." Paul spoke up. She turned to see her beloved bodyguard. "You have everything from your old room in this trunk." He pointed to it. "Everything is in there to make this place feel like home for you."

"Thank you, Paul." She hugged him, feeling a little sad knowing this would be the last time she saw him for a long time. "Thank you for protecting me for so long."

"Any time, sweetie. I'm only a phone call away. If you're in trouble don't hesitate to contact me." He assured her.

"Okay." She watched as Paul left the room, heading back to her fathers home.

"You still have me." All Might spoke up. "You'll get to see me everyday." He smiled.

"I'm glad I have you around." She grinned. "I get to bug you more." She elbowed him. He ruffled her hair playfully and hugged his niece.

"Do you need any help with anything?" He asked.

"I think I have everything under control, for now." She said doubtfully. All Might bent down to meet her eyes, "If you feel the least bit scared, come to me. I'm here to protect you."

"I know you are." She put on a smile for him. "This will just have to take some getting used to."

"Exactly." He kissed her forehead before he left the room. She sighed looking at the dreary dorm. She was thankful that she had brought some of her favorite paintings from her home. She would surely make more on her down time too, she never stopped.

She opened her trunk to get started on making herself feel a bit at home, she started on the walls and took out her paintings and wall hangings she had from her house. She pulled out a large tapestry with a picture of an old world map on it. She pinned it over her bed and moved into her paintings she loved dearly. She had to go through the smaller ones, none of her best artworks could fit in such a tiny space. She hung them up one by one along with a large compass rose wall hanging she decided to hang over her desk. Unfortunately, she had a hard time reaching so far back and tumbled off the chair she stood on. The crash was heard down the halls and a boy came in to her rescue.

"Are you okay?" He asked her. Fear struck her heart, reluctantly looking up to see a peculiar boy with odd eyes just like hers. Half red and white hair and a sad scar over one side of his face. He spoke gently enough but the fear stayed, a boy. Not just a boy, but a boy who kind of looked like her in a way was standing over her. He stared blankly at her, waiting for a reply but he didn't get one, she laid there frozen.
