MAYA POV
For the past two days, I've been battling with myself over what Marissa said. There is surely a secret, a deep one and I'm not supposed to find out about it. What could it be? If I ask Nathan he will sure behead me.
Now, what will I do? I'm bored, I can't just lie in bed every day reading a book. Maybe I will just go downstairs and cook something, who knows Nathan might get to eat whatever I prepare this time.
After I took my bath, I went downstairs and walked directly to the kitchen. Let me see what is inside the fridge. The fridge is always stocked with different foodstuffs and I've never seen anybody doing it.
Let's see what I can make today. After a series of thoughts, I'm just going to make a potluck macaroni and cheese.
The dish came out delicious and I put the remaining macaroni and cheese in the fridge. Today I'll also go for a swim, I'll just drain the water in the pool and fill it with a new one in case of germs.
Nobody is here so I'll just wear my bikini and play some music. It's been so long.
For a man like Nathan I don't think he is the type that enjoys swimming so what is a pool doing in his house?
Never mind, it is his problem anyway, for now, I'll just enjoy myself. After swimming to my heart content, I covered myself with a towel cause I'm badly freezing.
What is Nathan's car doing here? He can't be back by this time. I'm just with a towel for crying out loud, how will I go upstairs without seeing him?
There is also a huge possibility that he is in the kitchen or the living room. I'll just follow the back door.
Maya just tiptoe to the kitchen and run upstairs. Perfect Idea.
I'm not seeing any sign of him in the kitchen, that is good. It is now or never. Maya, you can do this.
Sprinting to the stairs I came in contact with a hard wall looking up to my disappointment. Nathan's chest is the hard wall and to make the matter worse my towel came off my body leaving me only in my bikini.
"Well, well look who we have here" Nathan gripped my waist firmly and produced this huge smirk on his lips that I badly want to wipe off. He is shamelessly looking at my breast licking his lips.
"Nathan, please let me go, I'm freezing" I pleaded and he only pulled me into a tight hug.
What is wrong with him today.
"I can give your body a lot more heat than required" he whispered into my ears groping my ass in the process.
Oh, dear moon goddess kill me already. His grip is so strong that no matter how I try to wriggle myself away from the hug he wouldn't budge.
