Chapter 15

Throughout the school day, Chika had been facing difficulties in selling his sweets. Every time he approached someone to advertise his products, they would mock him for his speech pattern, making it incredibly frustrating for him. Eventually, he grew tired and gave up on actively approaching customers, instead relying on students to approach him and make purchases at their own discretion.

He was sitting in front of his block when a security guard, whom he had been actively avoiding, spotted him. He had owed the security guard 1000 naira since the previous session and had been consistently neglecting to settle the debt.

The man seized Chika's crossbag, informing him that he could retrieve it once he had the money. Panic instantly surged through Chika as he realized the value of the sweets inside far exceeded the mere 1000 naira demanded by the man.

Chika hesitated to confide in Zuriel about the situation, fearing her wrath. He contemplated using the meager earnings from selling the sweets to settle the debt, but it fell far short of the required amount. With no viable alternatives at hand, Chika felt trapped and uncertain about how to proceed.

Realizing the urgency of the situation as the school day had come to an end, Chika understood that he needed to take immediate action. He couldn't simply leave the premises without encountering the security guard. Determined, he embarked on a search for Tope, hoping she was still present and available to assist him in navigating this predicament.

Back at the SSS3 block, Zuriel's anger from the previous day's altercation with Moyo still lingered. In class, Stephanie approached her and inquired about what exactly had transpired between them during her absence.

Zuriel took a moment to explain the entire situation to Stephanie, who grew increasingly upset upon hearing the details. Stephanie blamed herself, believing that had she been present, the fight could have been prevented. Stephanie also expressed frustration towards the boys for allowing the situation to escalate to a physical confrontation before intervening.

Stephanie decided to open up about her kiss with Beamer " Zino told me I'm not his type, he'd be lucky to have someone like me, I made sure it pained him when I kissed Beamer"

Zuriel couldn't help but laugh at Stephanie's revelation. Love and romantic gestures were not her cup of tea, and she couldn't relate to Stephanie's actions. She had never really experienced a crush on someone before, and the idea of going to such lengths for someone's attention didn't appeal to her. Unless there was a monetary incentive involved, she had no interest in such matters.

When Chika returned to the classroom in search of Tope's assistance, he saw Malik instead, Malik noticed his heightened state of paranoia and inquired about it. Chika initially hesitated, feeling unsure about sharing his concerns. He recognized Malik's resourcefulness and believed that he might have some valuable insights or suggestions that could assist him. With that in mind, Chika decided to confide in Malik and seek his help.

"That stupid gate man seized my crossbag, and Zuriel's sweets are inside but he doesn't know, if he finds out, which he will, I'll even be in more trouble." Chika blurted out, his words rushing out in a frenzy.

"Calm down boss, Chill, do you know where he kept the bag? Maybe it's in his post, I can go and steal the sweets but not the bag, when you have the money you'd collect it back"

Chika's heart swelled with gratitude, deepening his admiration for Malik. Malik, in turn, felt a sense of fulfillment in being able to assist his friend.

Malik needed Chika to create a distraction while he entered the security post. Unfortunately, just as they were about to proceed, Chika's attention was diverted as Lekan called him, making him unable to fulfill his role in the plan.

Chika felt a mix of anger and relief because he was certain that Lekan had called him with the intention of receiving a sexual favor.

In Chika's absence, Malik had to handle everything by himself, which posed a significant challenge.

Chika arrived at the store room and stood there, patiently waiting for Lekan to enter. When Lekan finally arrived, he cast Chika an intensely scornful gaze, leaving Chika feeling puzzled and unsure of the reason behind it.

It became clear that Lekan had summoned Chika to handle the task of removing the broken chairs from the store room, hence the reason for his call.

Chika experienced a deep sense of disappointment as he came to the realization that his encounter with Lekan was likely just a one-time occurrence. Despite this realization, Chika didn't give up hope. As he carried the chairs, he attempted to catch Lekan's attention by provocatively positioning his rear in the air, mimicking what had worked before. His efforts proved futile, and in retrospect, he felt embarrassed, as the situation reminded him of cringe-worthy scenarios from porn.

After Chika finished carrying all the chairs, he waited for a few minutes. Lekan, noticing Chika still standing there, inquired about his presence. Chika remained silent and chose to leave without uttering a word.

Malik already had the sweets in his own bag when Chika returned, Chika felt so happy, the words "I love you" came out of nowhere.

Malik ignored the declaration, pretending as if he hadn't heard it, and returned the sweets to Chika.

Upon arriving home, Jason checked his phone once again, eagerly anticipating a response from his LGM. He realized that she hadn't been online for a while, leaving him feeling somewhat disappointed.

Noticing that Zino was currently online, Jason decided to reach out to him instead, intending to resume the conversation they had left unfinished in the hallway.

"Hey," Jason messaged Zino, initiating the conversation by sending a playful sticker of a guy spanking another guy's behind.

Zino responded with a series of laughing emojis, indicating amusement.

Before Jason realized what was happening, their conversation took a turn towards sexting. Being new to this realm of communication, Jason struggled and found himself quite inexperienced in the art of sexting. "I want to make you cum till you reach climax" Jason sexted.

Zino couldn't contain his laughter on the other end, and Jason quickly realized how cringy his message had sounded. Feeling embarrassed, he swiftly unsent the message to save himself from further embarrassment.

Finally, his LGM responded, bombarding him with questions: "Did you like him? Is he gay? Or is he questioning? Does he know you're gay?"

Overwhelmed by the flurry of questions, Jason found himself in a dilemma, unsure of which question to address first since he was simultaneously texting both Zino and his LGM.
