We'd been assigned our cabins, and I got stuck with Chrysanthemum. Yes, the cabins were named after flowers. I think the other options were Edelweiss, Lily, and Dahlia.
And that's just for the boys. Some other people brought tents, but the cabins are nicer in my opinion.
The cabins are cramped to a point, squishing five of us in one. This meant there were two bunk beds and one single. Whoop-de-doo, lucky me, I get stuck on the top bunk.
The boy on the bottom bunk was the same age as me, and I decided that if I couldn't have Areum as a friend, I'd have to make another.
"What's your name?"
"Why does it matter?"
Ouch. I know I didn't give off the best vibes, but this guy was definitely worse. "I don't know if you noticed, but we're going to be stuck together for the next two months. So you can either try to be a decent human being or my mortal enemy."
The boy looked up at me through his blue locks. I'm jealous, I admit it. He seemed to be pondering something. I could've asked, but he would've interrupted me. "Bae Jinyoung. That's my name."
"Kim Yonghee. Go fuck yourself."
"Okay, angsty teen."
I scoffed. Jinyoung didn't seem that bad, so I'd live through the night.
That was what I thought until I heard the door creak open late that night. I looked up to see who was making all that noise, but the moonlight streaming through the door landed on Jinyoung's face.
