This time, all three of us left the cabin together. We snuck into Byounggon and Seunghun's tent, awaiting Jinyoung's words.
"Okay, um, I have something else to tell you guys."
No shit, I thought. Jinyoung was mysterious, however. I had no idea what he was about to say, and neither did anybody else.
"Well, um, this is going to sound interesting, but I'm sort of a murderer. An assassin."
I'd been trying to stay quieter to let everyone have the news sink in, but that was something I couldn't fathom. "An... assassin?" I tried to piece things together in my mind. "Are you saying that... you want to kill Seojun? For one offense?"
Jinyoung and Seunghun looked at each other. What was that about? "Well... look. If anyone goes that far without punishment, it's well deserved. Nobody knows what he's doing out here, and I doubt they'd be bold enough to tell anyone like I did. How many kids have been touched that way?"
"Well..." Byounggon started, but he never finished the thought. "What are you trying to say?"
"Besides wanting to kill Seojun, of course," Yonghee said.
Jinyoung sighed. He seemed exhausted. "I... look, it's not like I can't do it myself, but I want your guys' help."
He stopped talking, looking around at us, and then it hit me– he was looking for anyone who said no. I didn't feel like I could– yes, murder was messy, but trying to prove something was even messier. Besides, how hard would it be?
Noticing no protest, Jinyoung continued. "Okay then. I'll actually execute the entire thing, so I just need you guys to help me."
"And how should we do that?" Byounggon questioned. I was just about to ask the same thing.
Jinyoung didn't quite have the words yet. "Look, I've still got to work out a few more things. I'll... I'll talk to you guys whenever I figure it out. But he will suffer for what he's done."
He stood up and left the tent. Yonghee and I shared a brief look before following after him. He was right. Seojun should suffer.
