If he knew anything, Jake knew that he was terrified.

To think that a murder—let alone 5—were so close to him for the entire summer was dumbfounding. He had given his little piece in a police interview, and his answers were shallow; because he didn't know anything.

He almost felt stupid for being so oblivious. The only thing—rather, person stopping him from blaming himself is Jay, who was always somehow rational.

Jay was right. Nobody at the camp could've even guessed that Seojun was going to be dead before the end of the month, and that was just the way the facts were. If anyone had been able to predict it, then Jake would have an actual reason to be upset. For now, all he could do was check on the case every day and overlook the articles as they came.

Things were looking up, actually. The police had a good knowledge of where the five campers might've gone, and they were following their trail carefully. Jake had always been someone to tune into police cases every now and then, but this one was completely different. Jay had always told him to stop watching them for a reason.

Whatever. Jake's eyes widened when he snapped out of his thoughts, taking a good look at the article on screen. "Jay! You have to see this."

Jay turned the corner almost immediately, his room not too far from Jake's. Jake angled his computer so that Jay could see what he was talking about. "Look."

Jay's eyes widened just as Jake's had. "They're finding them?" he asked.

Jake shrugged. "That's what it says they're doing."
