Hyewon's POV:

I've already unpacked all the stuff I brought along with Minju in her room. I've also hooked up my gaming console on Minju's flat screen television inside her room. She allowed me to use my gaming console on a schedule. We agreed to take turns, I can use it for the mornings until lunch time on the weekends, after lunch, she gets to use her television to watch K-Dramas. She loves her K-Dramas apparently, on weekdays she agreed to let me use it for two hours prior her K-Drama that she watches from KBS. We always finished practice three hours before her K-Drama starts. So I have roughly two hours and forty five minutes to play my games. I never played games on weekdays, especially because it's a school night. We were on Spring Break currently. Luckily for me, I already transferred to Hanlim Art School last year, prior to auditioning for WM Entertainment. I used to go to a normal school called Bokwang Middle School. I'm an incoming Highschool Sophomore at Hanlim where I will be enrolled as a Sophomore Student of Broadcasting and Journalism, I took this, cause I loved writing and documenting stuff, I take good selfies and great photos for other people. So, I wanted to put these skills to good use and enrolled at the department myself.

Minju was now in bed, she was reading a book called Lord of the Flies by William Golding. It was a timeless classic piece, about some boys stranded in a remote and deserted island. I opted to write on my journal about the things that happened to me today, including sneaking off earlier this morning to a convenience store to buy Minju and I a cup of Ice Cream. The adventures Minju and I had was ingrained in my mind, I frequently went back to the words she said to me about living our lives happily and coming out of our love conundrum stronger than we were previously. I was uplifted by her words that was why my mind kept coming back to these words, through out the day, especially when I'm lagging behind the dance moves. Chaeyeon who was younger than I am by a year was a perfectionist in dancing, she's obsessed with the art of dancing and singing, I was momentarily comforted that Skylar Appa pacified Chaen and understood me.

Skylar Appa, Minju and I had dinner at our dorm. Skylar Appa cooked us some Spaghetti al Frutti di Mare with some Garlic Bread and Wine for Skylar Appa and Pepsi Cola for Minju and I. The dinner was an italian dish. We swapped stories about ourselves, discovering that Skylar Appa similarly loved to take photos, she also lived majority of her life in Italy where her Father and Mother met and fell in love, they had a life back in Italy, they often go back to the Philippines for vacations. Particularly every Christmas, her Father's Hometown was in San Fernando, Pampanga, she refers to herself as Kapampangan, the province was known for two things, The Christmas Lanterns and the Cooking, everyone in the province was taught how to cook at a young age of five at least her Father was taught how to cook at that age. Her Father was a Head Chef at an Italian Restaurant, where she learned some Italian Dishes. She only cooks Italian when she misses both her parents. I guess today was the day, even Minju who already spent a month with Skylar Appa, was just discovering Skylar Appa's origins.

She showed me her analog film camera collection that she hunts for at Korean thrift stores. She said she had more in Italy. Her favorite film was the Monochrome film, because according to her, the medium was dramatic and tells an alluring and mysterious vibe to the photos. I similarly showed her some of my collection of both analog and digital cameras, I brought along with me. She convinced me to try the Monochrome film, which I vowed to get and try on the weekend. Her Maternal side of the family were photo journalists, including her mother who writes about Italian Lifestyle and takes photos of the restaurants she goes to which are published in a lifestyle magazine in Italy. Her Maternal Harabeoji owns a film developing shop here in Mapo-gu, her Mother's family were a family of photographers, her Harabeoji included but after the Korean War, he established his shop here in Mapo-gu after coming home from the Military Service. He also took up some classes on Camera Repairs before opening his shop, so she said we can come to her Harabeoji's shop to have our films developed.
