Even with all these people around, she still felt empty.
Something was missing, someone was missing.

Dave was missing.

Nobody could replace him no matter how much they tried.
She had a lot of male friends.
Some trying to get her while some just on a normal friend zone but nobody seemed like him.
Nobody gave her his energy.

Alex was a 27 year old guy.
He was dark in complexion.
His height was 6'3
Mind you, he was really tall.
He had a car and a job.
He kept something like drake on his head but began to go on low cut when Jasmine complained that she didn't like the haircut and she felt low cut was better.
He had nice legs and a very good fashion sense.
That was the only reason Jasmine like him.

They met one certain night when Jasmine went out to get airtime.
It was a small shop close to where she stayed.
She was listening to music as usual and didn't pay him any mind. Although she admired his legs, that was all.

They were attended to the same time whereas he was there before her.
Maybe because hers was just airtime.
They began to leave and he tried initiating a conversation with her.

''Uhm, hey I'm Alexander, but you can call me Alex for short.'' he smiled sweetly at her.

''Okay,'' She responded.

"C'mon don't be like that. you're too pretty to be rude.'' Alex stated, making Jasmine chuckle.

''I'm not being rude. . .
I'm not just interested in talking to a stranger I've never seen in my life,'' She stated.

''Okay. I would like to have the title of a friend in your life if you don't mind.''

No response.

''At least can I get to know your name?''

''Nicole.''

She said and walked away before he could say anything else.

He liked her!

Jasmine got home and she didn't really care about the guy she just met minutes ago.
She had more things on her mind to think about.
She hoped they would never cross paths again.
He looked kinda old and she didn't want to be friends with someone as big as he was.

She went into her room and turned off the lights.
Lately, she began to like the colour black and darkness a lot.
Her heart was heavy and she missed Dave like there was no tomorrow.
How could she forget about this guy!?
Was he also missing her as much as much as she missed him!?
Was she the only one feeling all this pain?

She went on to youtube and searched ''how to move on from someone who doesn't love you.''

Many results came out and she tapped on that of Steve Harvey.
She liked him a lot because whenever he spoke, he spoke wisdom.
