About 20 minutes later, the police finally showed up, taking the teenagers to the station to be questioned by the Sheriff and another man. The wound on Ayla's head still hurt but not as bad after getting it patched up a bit.

"So when did you get there?" Scott's father, who happened to be an FBI agent, asked the group.

"At the same time," Stiles answered.

"At the same time as who?"

Scott responded, "At the same time as me."

"By coincidence?"

"What do you mean by coincidence?" he asked his father.

"That's what I'm asking you. The two of you arrived at the same time. Was that a coincidence?"

"Are you asking me?" The McCall boy pointed to himself.

Ayla facepalmed at Scott's question. They were clearly trying to prolong this interview and Ayla had no idea why. If she was being honest she hated police stations after what happened to her she never wanted to step foot in one again but her brother being the sheriff's deputy made that kind of hard for her.

"I think he's asking me," Stiles said to his best friend.

"I think he's asking both of you," Ayla snapped at the boys.

"Let me ask the questions," Agent McCall said loudly to get their attention. "Just so I have this absolutely clear. Barrow was hiding in the chemistry closet at the school. Someone left him a coded message on the blackboard telling him to kill Kira. Then Barrow took Kira to a power substation and tied her up with the intent of electrocuting her, which blacked out the entire town."

Stiles nodded his head. "Sounds about right."

"How did you know he'd take her to a power station?" Agent McCall asked.

"Well, 'cause he was an electrical engineer. So where else would he take her?" the sheriff's son explained.

"That's one hell of a deduction there, Stiles."

"Yeah, what can I say? I take after my pops. He's in law enforcement." Stiles winked at his dad, who was sitting at the desk next to Agent McCall and gave him a thumbs up. If she wasn't so anxious, Ayla would have laughed at Stiles' stupidity.

Biting at her nails, a bad habit she had developed after what happened, Ayla looked through the glass window of the sheriff's office searching for her brother. He was sitting at his desk, watching her as agent McCall hadn't let him in the room.

All Jordan wanted was to take her home, where he could protect her. This was the second time in the past three days that she could have died and he was starting to blame himself. If their father knew of this, he would have Ayla shipped off to a boarding school for another fresh start.

"Stiles, just, uh...Just answer the man," the sheriff pleaded with his son.

"We made a good guess."

Agent McCall nodded before turning to Ayla, Scott, and Kira. "What were the three of you doing?"

"Eating pizza."

"Eating sushi."

Kira and Scott said at the same time. Ayla honestly wasn't sure what to say as she was still in shock.

"Eating sushi."

"Eating pizza."

They looked at each other before nodding to themselves and saying. "Eating sushi and pizza."

Agent McCall then turned to Ayla. "Oh I uh, I was with Scott and Kira," she told the man.

"You believe this?" McCall asked turning to Sheriff Stilinski
