The next morning Ayla woke up with a heavyweight in her chest and a pit in her stomach. She was home alone due to Jordan having an early shift. No matter how hard she tried, Ayla just couldn't shake the feeling of dread that loomed over her, it was driving the girl crazy. It was like she had a million voices in her head telling her that something wasn't right.

Grabbing her key, Ayla got in her car and began driving, unsure of her destination, she just knew she had to get out of her house. It wasn't until she pulled up to the front of the McCall house that she realized where she was.

Lydia's car was out front along with another car Ayla didn't recognize. Walking straight up to the door and knocking, Melissa answered, keeping the door open just a crack.

"Ayla?" she asked.

"Uh, hi, Mrs. McCall. Um, I'm sorry to bother you but is everyone alright?" Ayla's hands were shaking now as Melissa looked over her shoulder at something in the living room.

"Actually, not really." The woman pulled Ayla into the house, closing the door behind her.

In the living room, Ayla was shocked to see Stiles just sitting on the couch with a piece of tape covering his mouth.

"Ayla?" Scott asked from the kitchen.

"I'm sorry, I just felt like...like something was wrong and I drove here."

Lydia gave the girl a questioning look. "What do you mean?"

If she was being honest, Ayla didn't know what she meant, she just woke up with an overwhelming amount of fear and dread, and the only thing that calmed the nerves was driving here.

"That doesn't matter, what's going on with Stiles? What did you give him?"

"We used kanima venom and that's not Stiles," a man Ayla later learned to be Deaton said from the kitchen.

Looking back at the boy, Stiles seemed to be completely still from the shoulders down, almost as if he was paralyzed. Whatever Kanima venom was, it seemed to be working. The tape on his mouth kept the boy from being able to speak, but Stiles didn't need words to convey the anger that was in his eyes.

"Lydia and Aiden found him in a random parking lot, and brought him here," Scott explained.

"But how did you know he was here?" Lydia asked again, walking closer to the girl

Ayla shrugged. "I really don't know. I just had a bad feeling and came here."

"What kind of feeling?" Lydia continued to push.

"That's not important right now," Scott reminded the girls. "What we need to do right now is help Stiles." He pulled the two into the kitchen so they could discuss this without the Nogitsune hearing.

"Okay so how do we help him?" Ayla asked.

"We change him into a werewolf," Lydia told her as if it was a simple task

Ayla whipped around to face her. "What? Why would we do that?"

"The scroll said to change his body."

"You're talking about the scroll that we found in Katashi's finger? Are we even sure that's what it said, it was in Japanese?"

"If I translated it correctly," Deaton confirmed. "We're looking for a cure in something that might actually be nothing more than a proverb or a metaphor."

"And what if he doesn't want it?" Scott pointed out to Lydia. "He's never asked to be a werewolf."

"What if it saves his life?" she shot back

"What if it kills him?" Ayla asked, "I mean can a bite kill someone instead of changing them? Scott, have you ever done this? What if you bite him and you hit an artery or something?"
