CHAPTER 9 - Fans or Cult?

    Cale group cross the Han River with the sea serpent monster skeletons. They arrived at the Seongsu Station before the time limits run out. After few minutes they heard the notification.

[Main Scenario #2 – Escape has ended.]

[200 coins have been acquired as a basic clearance reward.]

[Additional compensation settlement will begin.]

       Cale group was looking outside of the Seongsu Station. Looking at the violet poisonous fog spreading reminded him with the poisonous red fog that he often sees before.

“What are you thinking Dongsaeng?”

“I miss the children and everyone else.”

“We will definitely goings back to our home.”

“I miss them but I also don’t want any of them coming to this apocalyptic world. That’s why we should find our way home quickly.”

-  Cale how about strengthening the fiery thunderbolt? The people at this world didn’t need the silver, gold and jewelry right? So can we just took it all? It seems like a great idea. 🔥

“Of course.”

-  We also need to search for some artifacts, maybe it will help us found some clues to go back. 🌪

-  The God of Death said to find item that will help us to go back, it had a high possibility if it was an artifacts from this world that has a spacial power. 🪨

“Then we just need to walk around.” Cale smile.

     They decided to leave the station and go around to steal from the store around the city.

     After helping the fans with foods and tell them to close the station door, they walk to the city that full of poison by making a wind barrier by using the Sound of the Wind and wind elementals.

“Choi Han, can you cut that steel door? Don’t worry about the CCTV, I already broke it all. We need to take everything here.”

[Some constellations frowned at what you’re doing.]

     They just walked around leisurely while looting the empty stores and banks.

     Cale group gives some food for the fans and tell them to not follow them because it’s dangerous. They also tell the fans to close the station door to keep them safe.

    The fans follow their orders, then they thank them for their help and said they farewell.

    The fans make a discussion after they’ve left the Seongsu Station.

“They’re really glad! From their looks, power & attitude, everything is very perfect. They are not a human being but a God that descended to earth to give us salvation.”

“I agree, our Young master Cale-nim is the one who helped us to survive so he must be a God of Salvation.”

“I think our Prince charming, Alberu-nim is a God of Light. How can a normal human shine so brightly? I also feel like I see a halo of the ray of hope from him, especially when he’s smiling.”

“Did you see how Choi Han killed those monsters? Should we change his nickname from sword master to Sword God?”

“I want to call Mary-nim as Goddess of Death after saw her skills in controlling those skeletons. She really cool and kind heart. I really respect her.”

“I think that Clopeh-nim is the best, after all he is the one who always gives us that information about them and he even give us the copy data of the earlier record videos that we take together. He is our God of Information!”

“I won’t believe in God anymore and will only have faith in them.”

“That’s right! We don’t need a God when we have our idols who is much greater than any God.”

[Your sponsor sighed at your words and think that you are crazy.]

“What! We only chose you as our sponsor because Cale-nim said it would help us to survive. Beside we just chose you as our sponsor because we couldn’t make Cale-nim as our sponsor.”

    All of the fans nodded their heads in agreement. Some of them even started to cursing their sponsor for not knowing the greatness of Cale and his group.

   The constellations who sponsored some of the fans is really sad because they never had any idea that the incarnation that they chose was this crazy.

    At first, they seem normal but when the second scenario started, they became more and more crazy. Some constellations also blamed Clopeh for using incite skill that makes them get crazier.

     No one knows what is the truth, but the fans have a mentality of devoted believer or more like some cult fanatics that will grow larger because of the record data that Clopeh give them.

    My body suddenly became heavy as I felt water entering my lungs. Then I was sucked in somewhere. I wasn’t torn apart because I fell with perfect timing. However, I couldn’t lose consciousness here.

    I had to stay awake. I needed to wait for a while.

    I somehow managed to curl up and hold my breath. 10 seconds, 20 seconds, 30 seconds…I was barely breathing when my hands hit a tangible wall in the darkness.

    I could barely breathe after coughing up the river water several times. My level 10 stamina saved me from being killed by hitting the water surface, but the large and small bruises all over my body were very painful.

    I controlled my breathing in order to not fall into a panic and turned on my smartphone.

     I was worried it might’ve broken in the fall but the power was fortunately okay. It was good that I spent big and bought a smartphone with a waterproof function.

    The flashlight turned on and the surrounding scenery entered my eyes.
